They sent a plumber to our condo complex to check for water leak. I had a toilet handle that was sticking and he asked me if I wanted him to fix it and I said no because I already had someone coming out later in the week. He said its no problem because the condo association is covering all repairs.
4 weeks later they send me a $150 bill for lousy toilet handle.
Don't bother with these scammers.
My experience with this company has been great, especially the help I received from the gal who answers the phone. Extremely helpful and patient
We moved to the area and bought our house 7 years ago and have been plagued by plumbing issues since the very first week.
After having bad experiences with several other local companies, we called Bela and found them to be reliable (providing accurate time frames for arrival), fair (work is reasonably priced), and easy to work with: Jessica is in the office is a GEM-she is very pleasant, knowledgeable and understanding, answering questions and providing realistic expectations.
Every employee who has visited my home to perform work has been timely, pleasant, respectful and hard working.
Every experience I've had with Bela, from pipe repairs and clogs to vanity and toilet replacements, has been a good experience.
Ellen B.I was baited and switched. My toilet kept backing up, I have a Home warranty company called ""HWA"". Bella plumbing sent out a plumber to rod the toilet, within 10 minutes plumber said, he thought pipe was collapsed and said they will send out another plumber with a camera rod next day but it was not covered under warranty. I thought oh well I have to fix this broken pipe. Next day 2 guys come out with a bigger rod and camera immediately tell me ""no broken pipe just needed a bigger rod"" Charged me 1100.00 no broken pipe and warranty wasn't covering it. I wrote the check and next day stopped pymt because all the 1st plumber had to do was just his job and get a larger rod. 6 months later thought HWA covered it but they didn't. I was advised by Bella plumbing that they will put a lien on my property. How I didn't have a choice with plumbing co. because of Home warranty than Bella plumbing baited and switched, I will take furthur. Stay tuned for update. Beware of this co.
If available, I'd give them a zero star review! DO NOT USE THEM. They showed up to fix a circulating pump at my home because they were a preferred vendor that the Home Warranty of America company (who holds my Homeowners warranty). Mark, the tech, took an assessment of the broken pump, stated on the invoice it was a circulating pump, however his writing was barely readable. I called Bella multiple times to get a more clear version of the invoice because that's what was Home Warranty company needed to proceed, but no response or returned call after 5-7 calls. Then I physically went to their ""Streamwood"" Business location listed in their invoice. Come to find out, THERE'S NO ONE THERE. It's a ""Bathroom Crafters"" although they have a sign. Then I text Mark, the tech, after finding his information, asking him again for a copy of the receipt since my warranty company requested. He responded with ""Hi, what can I do for you?"", so I told him I needed the receipt. Then, he just didn't respond - totally ignored me. Then later that day I asked him via text again. Again, No response... So, basically he just took my $100 service fee and did nothing to help fix it and the warranty company won't do anything without the readable sales receipt. Completely unprofessional. Took my money and didn't fix anything or respond to my calls/texts.
Stay away from this company !!!!
Overpriced and ripoff
The employee told us that our bill will be around 200 and then we get the bill for over 500 for a simple one hour job
They don't even deserve one star
Corey S.If I could give them zero stars I would. They came out on a warranty call for American Home Shield. Sump pump hadn't worked in a while we think since it was discovered at a home inspection.
Plumber came out and said it was a frozen line, it was not. He never even open the cover to the sump. Before consulting AHS SAID IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED! It would be another $425 above the $100 trip fee for a total of $525. When I called him he said he didn't have time to talk and would call me back in 20 minutes, he never called back.opened the cover to the sump.
I believe the prey on people that don't know anything about plumbing.
If they are your plumber sent by AHS, refuse and request a different more reputable company. Look at all the horrible reviews they have had!!
I had Bella Plumbing come out today for a leaking hot water heater they came out thru my warranty company American home shield within 3 hours came back and installed a new water heater I will definately be using them again for any future plumbing issues thank you for the quick service
Do not use them. They had to come out multiple times to fix a simple faucet. And somehow my wedding band went missing in the few hours that they were there. Police were notified. They were provided through American Home Shield and even though AHS was notified, they still use them as a contractor.
Yes I wish too I could give minus stars, I am with American Home Shield insurance and they have contract with Bella plumbing, I have 2 major issues,
1.) Pipe leak in bathroom was reported in May 2018, we were told first it was not covered, after repeated calls they came and fixed in late July, I had to pay $1000 addition to water bill.
2.) Valve change over water heater, in spite of home insurance, I was told its on covered again, so I ended up paying $100 for insurance company and $305 for just valve repair. They are cheating big time.
