Beery Heating & Cooling
Company Overview
Indoor air quality holds many secrets that are often overlooked. Every day, up to 72 trillion microscopic irritants, or allergens, enter your home. Allergens consist of dust, pollen, pet hair, dander, dust mites, mildew, lint, fungi, tobacco smoke, cooking grease, and bacteria. Many of these particles are so tiny that your nose and throat cannot filter them out. These particles can reach deep within your lungs. Experience improved air quality with the AccuClean air filtration system from American Standard. AccuClean captures 99.98% of allergens and particles from the air inside your home. AccuClean outperforms typical 1"" throw-away filters and ionic room devices by a factor of 100. Choosing an American Standard air conditioner or heat pump that features the Energy Star logo is a wise decision for cutting down on utility expenses. What can you gain from a unit that carries the Energy Star logo? Air conditioners and heat pumps with this label exceed the federal efficiency standards by at least 20%. By choosing an American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning unit with the Energy Star label, you secure the highest efficiency available. Don’t forget to inquire with your American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning dealer about local incentives offered by various utility companies and financial institutions for Energy Star products. Since 1980, Beery Heating & Cooling has proudly remained family-owned and operated. The Beery family has a history in the wood-burning stove and coal industry dating back to the late 1800s. We have spent years ensuring that you have the ideal environment to call home.

Rhonda L.We recently purchased a house with basically all new heating and cooling. A completely new furnace, a/c unit, coil & humidifier/dehumidifier. On the furnace is the sticker from the install company, Beery Heating and cooling. I called for an appointment for a summer tune-up and to get a quote on possibly adding another a/c unit for our 3rd floor. I spoke to Melody, she was very kind and helpful. I told her we were the new home owners and wanted any info they had on all of our newly installed equipment. She was very accommodating and provided me with all that I needed to transfer ownership/warrantee of items to us. We made the appointment for a few weeks out due to my tight work schedule, I could not accommodate them sooner. The afternoon on the day before their 8:00am appointment, Melody calls to tell me that she was JUST advised by her manager that we are out of their service area, but they will still come tomorrow being we made the appointment a few weeks ago and because they didn't advise me sooner. She told me moving forward, I will need to find a new, closer to home company. I told her that I understood the distance, but we have a house full of new items that they were paid nearly $8K for and now they won't service their own products! I reminded her that we were suppose to get a quote for a new unit for upstairs, she told me they can probably still do that but then they wont come back for service, repairs or maintenance. I said so you basically will sell the big ticket items but won't stand behind them! She told me they did the previous owner a ""favor"" by coming out to replace her equipment because she gave them business for properties that she managed!! On the furnace sticker, it shows that they also did return for a routine winter service call for the previous owner. Now suddenly I am ""too far"" for them?!?! I told her to tell her manager that he made a very bad business decision by not standing behind their work. I will not do business with a business that does business like this! They seem to only care about their big ticket money items, then they leave you. Hein sight is, they did me a favor by showing their colors now before I invested and entrusted in their business, as I will never support a company that does not support their clients with ongoing service.
*An example of how their business tactics sounds to me in my field, at the company I manage: Come to my dental office, pay $2K for a crown. We will fix your tooth, put the crown on for you, then if you have any issues after the crown is installed, I am sorry, you need to find another dentist to fix it....SO NOT EVER HAPPENING!!
You did not make a good business decision, Mr. Manager!
Thanks for nothing!
Thank you, for another great service experience with Beery Heating & Cooling! We have been customers for years, and will continue to be, as your service and professionalism are first rate!
I had a new furnace and air conditioner unit installed in June 2020. The owner John Beery came to my home to speak with me about my options and educated me on the product his company carries. He provided me with a reasonable price compare to some of the other companies I met with and answered all of my questions and concerns. I found John to be very informative and trust worthy. The two technicians that installed the furnace and air conditioning unit were fantastic. They were very professional, friendly, and answered all my questions. They made sure everything was working properly and cleaned up their work area before leaving. This is an excellent company and I would definitely recommend them
Beery Heating & Cooling did an awesome job disconnecting and re-connecting my AC units! While disconnecting the units, Jordan noticed that the contactor was burnt out.....mind you, I already was working with A.W.E. who was taking care of my maintenance on these units, and never mentioned this issue. Beery Heating & Cooling did a great job evaluating my units, re-installing them, putting rock underneath, cleaning the units and compacting the dirt around them. The employees are very kind and professional. They will be taking care of my HVAC services from here on out!
Had used Beery for maintaining and repairing furnace for almost 10 years, so they were a natural choice for replacing the aged furnace and AC at the same time. Melody got me set up with an estimate appointment with John who did a great job of explaining my options and pointed out two issues with the existing ductwork that we could fix to improve airflow. Gave me a totally reasonable price, then Dan and Phil came out to take old equipment away and install new and reconfigure ductwork. It is like night and day, this new furnace, AC, and reconfigured ductwork has dramatically improved airflow in the house! Absolutely appreciate the efforts of everyone involved.
Phil S.Awful phone etiquite. First comment was about necessary overtime charges not helping me as a customer.
Don B.Great, local family owned business. Competitive pricing with quality craftsmanship. The 24 hour service is always there when you need them. They give up front no pressure pricing on all install jobs should you need replacing. A+ company!!
I've used Beery several times after having tried several other companies. Prompt and professional service. They are upfront and honest, especially about pricing. When it comes time to replace my furnace or AC, I won't hesitate to call them.
LOIS B.I admit, I am intimidated by furnaces. When I called on Monday to schedule an appointment, they were there by 1 pm. Every repairman has reassured me that the furnace is NOT going to blow up, but I stay away and leave all repairs to the professionals. When the job is complete and they show and explain ~ I nod and act like I understand, but not really, I am just happy to have heat. So glad there are people like this.
I definitely recommend Beery. All aspects of my getting a new Central Air Unit were positive.
-I asked a lot of questions during the initial inspection to find out what was wrong with my old unit. The tech was super knowledgeable, and explained things in a way that a homeowner could understand. (Side note- A tech from another company that I tried first came out. I asked the same questions and he was not able to answer them. He made me feel as if I would have to spend some obscene amount of money to get it replaced.)
-The owner John stoped by my house to explain the different pricing options I had. Great no pressure tactic sales. He even returned my phone call that was after hours on a few additional questions.
-Installation was great as well. The installer was great with answering questions as well. No additional clean-up on my end after the install.
I am glad, I shopped around.
Thanks John- you guys have a great team!
