John and his wife, Amanda, do a terrific job of professional customer service. I had an issue with a recirculating pump and had three plumbers come through my home warranty service who were unable to correct the issue. Finally, I requested Beekman who had helped me with other issues through the years. Through his determination and perserverance with the pump manufacturing company, he resolved the issue. And he even treated my dogs kindly.
Thank you, Beekman Custom Plumbing.

great communication for setting up a quick appointment. Gave me a call to say he was going to be early (!). Installed new toilet quickly. Really nice. Only thing is that I wish he could have taken all of the cardboard/foam that came with it, but also understood he had other jobs to do.

I first met John when he was dispatched by the warrenty company. My water heater had flooded the garage and I was in a panic. They were able to rearrange the schedule to take care of this quickly. Since then, I've always requested Beekman plumbing when I have an issue. They also helped me choose and install a custom sink and faucet in a very tiny bathroom. Their customer service is amazing, and they are 100% honest. I

Fantastic service! Amanda was helpful on the phone and John was thorough and experienced. He recommended inexpensive fixes when a full replacement wasn't necessary, even though we wouldn't have know the difference.
I highly recommend Beekman's.

Awesome service, very timely! Both of the gentlemen that installed my waterheater were *very* polite, and the owner had no problem explaining things to me. This says nothing of the amazing customer service in their office! I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs!
*edit*
A while back, they installed a renai water heater in our house. This thing is AMAZING-even in the incredibly cold weather we have been having. If you don't have one of these things yet, it is completely worth the investment!

Beware....John and his wife are liars and thieves. They were sent to my home by the home warranty company after another company was unable to complete the task of replacing my water heater. The first plumming company was too far back logged with work and could not complete the work in a timely manner. They excused themselves from the job. John was the warranty's company's solution to this problem. Before he was sent I asked if there would be a charge and they said ""no"". "" The other company had already diagnosed the problem."". ""we just want to check for access."" Well come to find out that John and his wife sent my insurance/ home warranty a bill for $60.00 for showing up for less than 5 minutes. Unbelievable! After 5 phone calls to his company, John's wife finally called me back. She was rude and tried to hide behind the excuse that ""they did not charge me a fee"". Come to find out they submitted a request for payment from my insurance/ warranty. What a scam? This is NOT good business practice. Beware of these people!

I had called my home warranty and they referred me to Beekmans. I had a leak under the house, which I was told they could not get over here until the following week. So when John came out after the leak was 7 days plus leaking water, he looks from a distance of the leak and says there was to much water damage under the house to fix it. He continues to tell my husband that we need a restoration company to fix the damage prior to him fixing the pipe. He called the old republic and we found we don't have coverage for that. John further says we must have hard water for the pipe to burst and we should get our water tested and the pipes replaced with some treks type of pipes. All this he said without even getting up to the leaking pipe. He turned off the water and recommend the Restoration to fix the insulation and possible water damage prior to the pipe getting fix. Off John went, no fix and no water.
I had to call my step father to come out and look and see what he thought. It was ridiculous that John could not just fix the leak and let us arrange for restoration to repair; if needed. My step father fixed the pipe and with a dehumidifier fix the moisture under the house.
In my view the pipe should have been fixed on the first trip. The invoice that he left says there was to much water under the house to fix the leak. We have sand under the house and there was no standing water. So what was he talking about??? I think he just didn't feel like doing the job. Well if you don't want to do the job don't be a contractor for the insurance companies!!!! Not A Happy Customer!!!!

THANK YOU, BEEKMAN'S!!!
Our home warranty had assigned us with a different plumber to address a leak issue in our guest bathroom, and that plumber only made things worse! I ended up calling our home warranty to share my disappointment. I asked them to assign another plumber to us, and requested for Beekman's because we were really satisfied with John's service when he helped us with another plumbing issue when we had first moved into our house. Sure enough, John came back today and fixed the mess that the other plumber had made. He was simply amazing!
Also, how can you not fall in love with Amanda over the phone?! She is simply a sweetheart!

John from Beekman's was dispatched by my warranty company, Old Republic. He came on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as well as gave me other tips that were very helpful as I just moved into the home a few months ago. His explanations relieved a lot of concerns I had about the house.
He was not rude and all. He was clearly not here to waste anyone's time, so perhaps his speed made other reviewers think he was rude? Also, to the other reviewers, what plumber takes off his shoes? I would think keeping your shoes on is a requirement for this line of work.
Anyway, it turns out I need a HVAC specialist, and John called Old Republic for me and got them to send another specialist and made sure I only needed to pay the deductible once.
Also, he didn't push for me to hire him to take care of the other recommendations but, rather, told me to call a ""local plumber."" That's a plus in my book.

I first met John and Amanda when they came out for a home warranty issue. The first company sent by my home warranty company kept trying to sell me services, saying my home warranty wouldn't cover what needed to be done. I sent them away with a polite ""no thank you"" and was then put in touch with John. What a difference! He came out as promised, took stock of the situation (things don't run uphill as my plumbing under my sink had been installed), and dealt with the warranty company for me.
When I needed additional work done due to a stopped up drain, I didn't hesitate to tell the warranty company to send out Beekman's. Amanda worked me into their schedule, and the issue was resolved quickly, efficiently, and with no mess for me to clean up.
I highly recommend Beekman's Custom Plumbing!
