Set an appointment for this week, got a call but did not get around to calling back. They called me this morning to ask for more details on what I wanted done, which I provided. Then I got a call (I work from home and was on a 15 minute phone call with a customer so I could not answer). Within 3-5 minutes I also got a text saying they had someone available right then and could they come over? There was also a warning saying they would pass me by if I did not respond right away. I called within 5 minutes of that, and got the same person I spoke with that morning.

The man I spoke with was a in a big hurry (which is fine) and wanted to talk over me (not fine). I said today wasn't going to work, and he said then I would need to wait a week for an appointment. I was confused on the date of the appointment, he clarified that it was scheduled for today, but my 4 hr window did not start for another 30 mins. I pointed out that the text and the voicemail I received (coming within 5 minutes of each other, and threatening to pass me by if I didn't respond) made it sound like the ""plumber available right now"" was an offer to come early, which I declined. Saying they would not keep my appointment (which had been scheduled for more than a week) because of that, seemed unprofessional. I had to specifically ask the man not to talk over me while trying to explain this, as he was eager to interrupt before I could finish explaining. As I said, being in a hurry is fine, but being rude is not. I also felt like while this man's words were polite, the manner he gave them in was rather defensive and rude.

At first I was going to reschedule, but then decided I did not want to do business with a company that was okay with talking over a customer and treating them rudely because they have a lot of calls to deal with. From the reviews here, sounds like they are good at plumbing, but apparently not so good at dealing with people. I'm tired of giving business to companies that feel they can treat customers this way, without apology or respect.

They assured me they would be to our home at a specific time, not a two or three hour window, they no showed. No call. Just no showed. So glad I stayed home from work for someone to no show.

First time property owner, and of course my gas heater shut off on New Years. Beehive connected me with their tech ASAP and this was being inspected within 2 hours. Honest assessment, will trust them in the future.

Paul was excellent! We have a VERY poorly installed faucet (literally glued in among other things) by the previous owner and Paul was able to uninstall it, install our new one, and do a few other minor fixes. He was extremely professional and left our kitchen better than he found it. He also took the time to show us some other work the previous owners did that we should fix/update at some point but he didn't try and ""sell us"" on doing immediately. He also showed us how to use and test our water softener which was a very nice added service. We will be using Beehive in the future and will specifically be asking for Paul

Very disappointed. We had plumbing issue and scheduled online with Beehive right at the moment. They canceled it said not available for the time I scheduled online. They postponed me for 5 days and I said okay. The I waited and waited to their scheduling time but they couldn't get here on time again and wanted to reschedule me for two days after, and who knows by that time if anything gonna happen again and if they would cancel my appointment again. I've wasted 5 days for fixing it. Horrible experience.

Another plumber installed my storage tank water heater on 9/28/17. On Friday, 5/22/20 at 8 AM I found that I had no water. I found a leak at the bottom of the tank. I called the plumber and found out they were closed. I had to call their answering service and wait 15 minutes. My message was forwarded. I received a call and this lady said she could fix it on Tuesday. I complained and then she said 8PM Saturday night and pay OT or Tuesday and pay no OT. I kept complaining and she said 8-10AM Saturday and it would cost $675. The original was $1,000. She said my 40 Gal. was ""old"" and the State of Utah ruled that a new type had to be installed.
I then called Beehive and was told a Tech could be at my house by 3 PM. Benj came and told me that a storage tank lasts between 3-7 years. My wife and I saw reviews of tankless vs. tank with tankless receiving 95% favorable reviews. Beehive has Noritz Tankless with a 25 year warranty and it can never leak. I found on YouTube that Noritz is the only one that has the piping at the top, which is much easier for installation. Benj started at 4:15 PM and never took a food break. A young Tech named Sam came and helped for a few hours, but had to leave. Benj had special equipment he used instead of welding and saved time. He had to go outside and drill a hole through my siding to vent it and that was the night it rained very heavily. He also had to strap and hang large PVC pipes. He finally left at 11:30 PM. He was amazing, awesome and fantastic. He told us ""I wasn't going to leave until you had hot water."" On a scale of 1-10, he deserves a minimum score of 13 and maybe more. This is an example of a truly inspiring work ethic. I AM NOW A LIFETIME BEEHIVE CUSTOMER.

Benjamin showed up early, did a great job replacing a hose spigot. Efficient and cost effective. I love how you can schedule the visit online.

Very disappointing. We called Beehive Plumbing on January 6th to have them fix a clog on our bathtub and laundry drain. When the plumber Alma arrived, we showed him the problem areas, and also asked about clearing the main line to the house. He told us the main line would cost $375, then $100 for the two drains. We didn't have $475 to spend right then and there, so we declined the main line expecting to pay $100 for the two drains. Having looked at competitors coupons (anyhour charges $40 per drain) I thought $100 for 2 drains seemed about right. When he was done about 20 minutes later we were billed for $325. I called Beehive to ask why this bill was so big when I was quoted $100. I was told ""part of the reason why the bill is higher is because I offer a 90 guarantee on all my work. If something happens I'll come back out and fix it.""

After going back and forth, the plumber Alma called me apologizing that he wasn't clear about the pricing, and said he'd be able to knock off $125 from the bill ""friends and family discount"" bringing the total to $200. I knew I wasn't getting the original deal quoted, so I agreed and they mailed me a $125 check.

Fast forward to this week. We are a little over 1 month since our visit. The bathtub isn't draining. I called Beehive Plumbing to have them make good on the 90 Day Guarantee. I was told that part of the reason I was able to get such a good deal at $200, was they took off the guarantee entirely without telling me. The plumber Alma said he'd ""see what he could do"" but he hasn't returned my calls.

If you quote somebody a price.. stick with it. I am not a wealthy man. Single income with 3 kids. Having a plumber come to my house is never an expected thing to have to spend my money on.. but that's life and we do what we have to do. If you tell somebody that your work is guaranteed... Don't lie. I feel like a fool for getting duped by these guys. So hopefully this review serves as a warning to look elsewhere. Beehive Plumbing will spit in your face and tell you it's rain.

**update: I contacted the office and they were able to work with me. I'll leave the review here, but will note I don't believe my experience is typical of Beehive and shouldn't reflect on them as a company. ***

We've had a few experiences with Beehive and overall I'm underwhelmed. One of the plumbers they sent out for a quote forgot to turn the water back on, the second guy was really nice and went the extra mile to make the situation right, but what really killed it for me was when we decided to move forward with the work, we scheduled two weeks in advance, took the day off work and got a call 10 minutes before they were supposed to arrive saying they were sorry but no one was available. I explained that we took the day off to make sure someone was here, so could they make come after 6pm for a reschedule... and they said no. Really? You canceled on me. I won't be recommending them or rescheduling.
