Disclaimer: This review does not review beehives plumbing as a service, as I have never needed them, (I am sure they are great plumbers). But rather a review of a incident I had on the road with one of their drivers. I hope this review reaches the right person so that we can all be safer on the road.
On 8/27/23 around 11:40 I was biking down E Sunnyside Ave leaving Emigration canyon. I was in the bike lane, and a Beehive plumbing box truck passed me in the right lane with inches to spare. He then proceeded to change to the left lane and change again into the left turn lane, to turn onto Foothill Blvd. There was also no other moving cars near him that would have forced him to be this close to me.
I was on the left edge of the bike lane, as there was debris on the right, but still well within the painted lines. It is pretty easy to tell when a passing car comes close because it was forced to by circumstance (due to other cars, etc) and when a car comes to close to offer a warning. There was no reason he needed to be this close to me, let alone in the right lane, given he was about to turn left. It felt very deliberate and as a threat, saying that ""you better get back to the right side of the bike lane"".
Everyone makes mistakes and I am sure that this could have been a negligent mistake, maybe he thought he needed to turn right, and was confused, or whatnot. In the case that this was a threat to me, and or road bikers as a whole, it is very immature and most definitely not a good look for the company.
I am leaving this as a 5 star review because I know ratings mean a lot to a company. As I mentioned at the start of the review, this is not a reflection of their service. I do not think it would be fair for me to leave a 1 star review on something that is very distantly related to the service itself.

Our bathtub wasn't draining so we gave them a call. $350 later it was fixed. I just felt like the price was a bit steep seeing how they were at my house for less than a half hour.

We had a leak come in from our water main and leak into our utility room. Called BH and was impressed with their text service and how they send a picture of whom it is you'll be meeting with and when. I met with Daniel. He was professional and informative. More importantly he gave us options. They were the only ones we meet with that said they could burrow underground and not have to break up our concrete. Unfortunately option 1 didn't work out with our main being 13 feet under our concrete entry way! It ended costing more than we hoped for, but having been told prior with other options it helped not feel it was a ""bait and switch"" sort of thing. Roman and Jed we punctual and professional with their work. Our yard was NOT torn up or left with warped tracks from the excavator. When they left for the evening they covered all exposed holes and taped hazardous areas. When the job was completed they compacted all holes and washed off our entry way as if they were never there. I would definitely recommend giving Beehive a call to anyone with any plumbing problem you might have.

To the rescue! On a Friday afternoon I noticed puddling water in my yard. I was leaving town on Monday morning and needed someone to come stop the leak asap. Daniel with Beehive came out, stoped the leak and helped me figure out the best plan of action. He was very kind, professional and helpful.

What can I say about Beehive plumbing & HVAC, they are the bee's knees!
We have a charming #old house in Midvale and they had done plumbing work previously, they saved us hundreds because we just needed an adjustment and not a whole new fixture. They were actually honest with us & because of that I called to get more work done, they told me that they also do HVAC work! For anyone who has had home repairs done since 2020, a company that can do multiple things #jackpot.
Junior & Chris were the HVAC team sent out, they are seasoned, kind, hardworking, honest guys. They covered their shoes every time they came in or out and they are not the shady type you have to worry about being home alone with them in your house:) (You know what I'm talking about ladies.)
They walked us through all of our options & they were very conscientious of our budget and all of the weird quarks of our house.
I can honestly not say enough good things about them, they were real, timely & didn't leave our house in total disarray. We ended up getting two furnaces and a water heater and we plan to use them again and again.
Truly I am not a blogger, nor a salesman, nor was I paid for my review, I am a real life customer who paid with my own hard earned money, and when people are as good as them I want others to know!
Beehive Plumbing & HVAC is a rarity in this COVID suck feast of home repairs & we are told their owner is all about quality and honesty.
They are an honest, local company with amazing employees.
Chris and Junior are top notch! We would recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favor & spend your hard earned money on them, they are worth every Penny!

Our drain backed up and flooded our basement. We were in a panic and called a plumbing company that gave us a time window and didn't bother to show up or call. Then we called beehive plumbing and they came right away. They quickly found the problem and showed us. They fixed it and were awesome at communicating the entire time. Colton was literally the BEST! He worked quickly and did an amazing job!! It's good as new and their response time was incredible. Would recommend this company to anyone and definitely will be using them again if necessary!

DO NOT HIRE BEEHIVE PLUMBING! Only hire if you want your floors ruin and they refuse to send someone over to fix the damage that their plumber caused! It has been 3.5 months since I had Beehive Plumbing came to replace my garage disposal and they did not install correctly. Leading to my dishwasher flooding and damaging my floors since it could not drain though the disposal as it should. They are unprofessional, will avoid answering your calls and emails and pawn you off to the next person to avoid working with you.

Set an appointment for this week, got a call but did not get around to calling back. They called me this morning to ask for more details on what I wanted done, which I provided. Then I got a call (I work from home and was on a 15 minute phone call with a customer so I could not answer). Within 3-5 minutes I also got a text saying they had someone available right then and could they come over? There was also a warning saying they would pass me by if I did not respond right away. I called within 5 minutes of that, and got the same person I spoke with that morning.

The man I spoke with was a in a big hurry (which is fine) and wanted to talk over me (not fine). I said today wasn't going to work, and he said then I would need to wait a week for an appointment. I was confused on the date of the appointment, he clarified that it was scheduled for today, but my 4 hr window did not start for another 30 mins. I pointed out that the text and the voicemail I received (coming within 5 minutes of each other, and threatening to pass me by if I didn't respond) made it sound like the ""plumber available right now"" was an offer to come early, which I declined. Saying they would not keep my appointment (which had been scheduled for more than a week) because of that, seemed unprofessional. I had to specifically ask the man not to talk over me while trying to explain this, as he was eager to interrupt before I could finish explaining. As I said, being in a hurry is fine, but being rude is not. I also felt like while this man's words were polite, the manner he gave them in was rather defensive and rude.

At first I was going to reschedule, but then decided I did not want to do business with a company that was okay with talking over a customer and treating them rudely because they have a lot of calls to deal with. From the reviews here, sounds like they are good at plumbing, but apparently not so good at dealing with people. I'm tired of giving business to companies that feel they can treat customers this way, without apology or respect.

They assured me they would be to our home at a specific time, not a two or three hour window, they no showed. No call. Just no showed. So glad I stayed home from work for someone to no show.

First time property owner, and of course my gas heater shut off on New Years. Beehive connected me with their tech ASAP and this was being inspected within 2 hours. Honest assessment, will trust them in the future.
