I received a frantic call from my tenant one late afternoon a few weeks ago, stating that the water heater was gushing water all over the garage floor, she needed to get ready for work, and had to take a cold shower. Thinking there was little chance at 4 in the afternoon to do anything about it right away, I began looking on Yelp for a plumber to possibly come out the next day. The first name on Yelp's list was Jim Beck, so I gave him a call.
Jim appreciated the urgency of the situation (she has small kids too) and was at my property withing 20 minutes. By the time I got off work at 5:30, he had replaced the water heater, and now had moved on to helping the tenant with some other ""issues"" in the house that had been neglected! Jim fixed a leaking shower valve, and only charged me for the parts since he was ""there already"" and the water heater went in so smoothly.
I think it went smoothly because Jim was such an honest, hard working, and professional plumber. I will definitely use Jim again, and will recommend him to my friends and family.

I called Jim on a Thursday to clear out an area drain and its run to the street. I wasn't going to be home until Tuesday which would have been fine with me but the forecast was for rain over the weekend and Jim didn't want to let it go that long. He told me he would try to get by Friday but his schedule was tight so it may be Saturday morning. Well just after lunch on Friday I received a text and a picture of a drain and pipe free of roots and mud flowing perfectly.

Incredible service on short notice never having met the man. Jim is one of a kind. Thank you so much.

I highly recommend Jim Beck. In fact I was just giving his number to a neighbor this morning and realized I never wrote a Yelp review for the work Jim's team did a year ago. So here it is.

Jim was awesome for coming out after normal business hours when my water heater exploded. Then was able to get a new one installed next day, a Saturday. In fact it was Super Bowl weekend and I remember thinking no one was going to come out to do this job that weekend, but Jim's crew did.

I called Jim on Sat regarding my water heater. He correctly diagnosed the problem (thermo coupler issue). I called the manuf and they shipped replacement parts at no charge (under warranty). Jim came out right on time and did the install in less than an hour. Very professional. No upsell for a new water heater. I would definitely use them again
