The guy Jeff who does their boiler service is a joke. He never shows up on time, doesn't know how to prime my boiler, doesn't have or know how to find the parts necessary to fix the problem, and at one point tried to get me to find the part and fix it myself. As of right now I'm still waiting on him to call me back with the correct part, and its been over three months since he first tried to ""fix"" the problem. Call Jane's heating; their boiler guy Grant fixed it the first time after diagnosing the problem.

This company is excellent! Ken was early, which is great, and got right to work. Whole visit was about 30 minutes and he fixed the furnace! We have used them in the past for plumbing. Ken was friendly and wore his mask, thank you covid. Will always use them in the future!

If I could assign more stars, I would! I have been trying to get my gas fireplace fixed for 5 months. Several local businesses have sent someone out, without success. Each one had said that the unit could not be fixed, but needed to be replaced. By chance, I mentioned the problem to my building manager and he suggested I try calling Beck's. When I talked to Dominic on the phone he understood the problem and was confident that the problem could be fixed without having to replace the whole gas insert. Ken came out within a day and was able to diagnose the problem right away. He removed the problem part and brought it back to the shop for Dominic. I don't know how they did it, but a replacement part was located and Ken made a return trip to install the new part. Ken was kind enough to come a bit later than his usual quitting time, so that I did not need to take another day off work. He also waited patiently while I wrote all the instructions down for lighting the fireplace if the pilot went out. Even tho the season may be ending, I'm going to be lighting up the fireplace on a daily basis, thanks to Dominic, Ken and anyone else at that business who contributed to my ""new"" gas fireplace!

I have had two emergency experiences over a year or so with Beck's. The first was my water heater that went out on a Friday or Saturday night and the second a couple of days ago when I awoke to find water shooting all over my garage from a broken valve due to my improperly shutting down the water for the winter.

Both times Beck's came out as quickly as possible (next day with the new water heater and within a couple of hours on the broken valve (I had turned off the water)). They were professional, did excellent work and I was charged a fair price both times.

I have also had other tradespeople in the area recommend them to me as a good company to do business with and my experiences are great so far. I also called Dominic on the recommendation of my roofer to get some advice about a moisture problem and he kindly called me back to discuss the problem and recommended a possible solution.

In reading the reviews I get the feeling that Zohra, Ali and Miriam are all the same customer trying to bash the company. As a small business owner myself I know that we all make mistakes but that feels like unfairly piling on.

My experiences have been great and I'd highly recommend Beck's.

These people came by charge me $120 on 12/21/2015 apparently to fix my heat. The heat was better for less than one day before turning off again. When we rebooted our heating by ourselves, it started working again until another cold day. We called Beck's again and they said they were not coming out to fix something they already fixed without charging us in full again. We thought this was horrible business ethics because let's be real, if you pay to fix something once and it doesn't get fixed, it does not make sense to pay them to do what they already should have done the first time. 

After suffering in the freezing 45 degree temperature INDOORS, we thought we would give Beck's one more call to see if they could actually do their job which we had already paid for. They then sent out an employee from there who was very nice, if i had to judge Ken's attitude it would be a 5. He ""fixed"" our problem and since he was so nice and helpful (a whole lot better than the owner. I don't know how this owner man has his own business, his customer service skills lack and he is not even nice or polite. There is not a single nice thing that I can say about this owner. If it was possible, i would give him a negative 2 out of five but I can't do that.). Anyways, but since the employee, Ken, was nice, we gave him a good tip for coming out and helping us. 

Now here comes the most outrageous part: Beck's mailed us an invoice for $111.00 A WEEK AND A HALF LATER!!!!!! By this point, we had needed to get our same heating problem fixed again by a different company because Beck's is unreliable, impolite, downright stupid, and money-hungry. They are greedy people that want free money and don't know how to solve the problem that they built an entire company to fix. They have no idea what they are doing. The second company we called to fix the problem that Beck's should have solved literally last year fixed our problem the first time around and charged us $185, which we happily paid since they actually did what they were supposed to. Now Beck's, instead of accommodating or reimbursing us for their crappy service and lack of knowledge to fix our problem is expecting us to pay another $111.00 for doing absolutely nothing!!

Do yourselves a favor, NEVER EVER EVER go to or call Beck's for any of your needs, you are honestly better off having a toddler ""fix"" it... actually, you are better off freezing to death than dealing with these people who claim to own and operate a business. Save yourselves and do not call them, the lesser people that call them, the sooner they go out of business, and honestly, that is the best thing for the world. 

Lastly, I hope everyone can see what a scam they run and call a business and save themselves from these rude people.

Bad experience!!! I had them come out to fix my heating unit. They charged me the fee of 120. The problem was actually not fixed since my heating unit broke down the very NEXT day. The heat completely stopped just the way it was stopping before. So I called them, and the person on the phone said "" it will cost $120 for me to come out"". I told him that I'm having the same issue, can you come out and see if whatever you did was wrong ?? But that unprofessional person said No! I will come out to see it and I'll charge you 120. BEWARE !!!

I hate putting up bad reviews, Trust me I really do but I will let others be the judge if I am justified in putting this one up. We called Beck's heating a week ago to fix a problem with our heat. They came by and said it was fixed. It was just the bad filter and charge us $120 for the service. Nice and Easy . A week later same problem with the heat. The place is at 45 degrees again. I call them that this happened again. The very problem we called you to solve for us. He starts telling me how much its gonna cost for him to come out. Instead of saying I am sorry that same issue is happening 5 days down the road. I went like you are telling me you are gonna charge me for something you came to fix a week ago, charged me for it already, and it was obviously not fixed. He said do you expect me to come out to you for free. No I don't expect people to give me free service. However, I do expect them to stand behind their work at least for couple of months. He said I don't give out warranties . Oh, well may be you should fix what you were called for. or be nice enough to say sorry you are having the same problem again. I will come take a look you will only have to pay if its a different issue this time. Or offer something other than "" It will be a $120 charge for us to come out and look at the same problem to we came to fix for you last week.""
