Our founder, Duane Bechdel started Bechdel Plumbing, Heating & AC early in his career in the early 70s because he saw a need in the area. Duane and Patti are devoted to their clients and consistently embrace new clients.

Angela M.Run, don't just walk away from this business. They couldn't fix my heating system. I finally had to call my father in law who is not a licensed plumber, and it only took 5 minutes for him to figure it out. I still received a huge bill from Bechdel.
Steve K.I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They made two attempts to repair my gas furnace and on the second visit literally broke the system by shorting out the blower motor, which made the whole system shut down. The technician said there wasn't anything he could do and left us without a working heating system on a day when the outside temp was 8F. Calls to their main office only resulted in a lame apology and saying the best they could do was hopefully send someone out the next day, and recommended I find someone else to fix what they broke. Thankfully I was able to get a reputable repair person at the last minute costing $385, but when I asked Bechdel repeated times to reimburse me for my expenses to fix their mistake, they've said NO. Very disappointing!
Susan K.Called them for an emergency call out. The technician called me for directions and then didn't show up for an hour and a half. We got the problem fixed about the same time the technician called a second time for directions and I told him not to bother. I called Bechdel's and explained the situation and a week later I received a bill for $200!! They never set foot on my property and did nothing to solve my problem in 1.5 hours!!
