We needed to repair or replace a shower-over-tub valve. Bernie was able to recognize the make and model of the existing valve. He obtained and was able to replace only the injector, not the entire valve. He also was able to make a custom adjustment to enable a new handle to be attached. He provided a free estimate and met the price on the estimate. Bernie is knowledgeable and efficient.

I wrote an earlier review, pleased at how Bernie solved a plumbing problem. When another issue arose, we called him. I must now withdraw my favorable review.
We had to replace a defective sink faucet, involving re-caulking the sink. He did not do it properly: water leaked down the back into the area under the sink. He returned, but again did not do it properly.
Remember the old saying? ""Once is an accident, twice is coincidence, three times is (adjectival) stupidity."" For us, there will be no third time. We still have the leak, so now we must find a reliable plumber.
Update: we found a reliable plumber, who showed us how Be&Be had used latex sealant instead of silicone, and how the latex could not withstand the inevitable water.

What isn't wonderful about Bernie? He calls back right away, he is easy to work with, he explains everything clearly AND he is a superb plumber. We have had him clear drains, fix toilets and showers, and help with leaks on heater valves. Fantastic!

Bernie Gomez was recommended to me by Mike at He-Man Plumbing and I was not disappointed. The experience I had working with him was excellent. Bernie responded quickly to my initial call and he was flexible in scheduling to address my request in a short time frame. Not only was the work he did efficient and effective, but it corresponded to his time & cost estimate. I was nervous that a simple faucet replacement may turn into a difficult job due to the age of my turn off valves and pipes, along with the hard water build up, but Bernie made it all work without incident.
