We needed to replace a broken, old, outdoor, faucet that started to leak severely. Bernie was recommended to us by He-Man Plumbing. He took care of the problem (involving replacing a god deal of old plumbing) quickly and efficiently. His price was quite reasonable. We would not hesitate in recommending him.

When I called Be&Be, Bernie called and was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone. He worked with me and my tenant to fix a problem install a anglestop on my hot water valve to hook up a dishwasher that a previous house flipper had hooked up to the cold water line. Bernie was great, he took care of the job, communicate with my tenant and was very fair with is pricing. Thank you Bernie; I will be calling you if i need any other plumbing repair.

Our Grohe shower faucet handle broke the other day. I started trying to fix it myself, but a little web searching made it clear this was going to be both expensive and time consuming. Tried Mike at He-Man Plumbing, but he doesn't work with Grohe and thus referred me to Bernie at Be&Be.

Bernie made an appointment with me for the next day, kept it on time and was able to fix our shower the same day even though it required him going back out in be middle to buy a replacement cartridge. Very friendly and respectful guy who was happy to show us what he was doing. Total cost $350, including $160 for the cartridge. Not cheap, but got our shower up and working in what might otherwise have been a ongoing saga. Would be happy to call him again.

I had Be&Be came out to fix a leaking valve. The communication was good and Bernie came out on time. Bernie fixed the problem quickly, it turns out the stop valve under the sink just need a replacement. The work was done in about 40 min, but I still get charged for the full hour, and $26 for a stop valve which really just cost under $10 at HomeDepot.

Bernie and his crew came to do a gas line reroute and toilet reroute for me. The job was done very poorly and they were rushing to finish, no attention to detail. After a week, there was a gasleak from their reroute.

I don't mind if it takes longer to do a job but do it right. I had to hire someone else to do the work again and do it right this time.

I'm very disappointed and would not recommend Be & Be plumbing to others.

I have used Bernie twice. One job, he fixed a leaky line above a water heater. Another time, he repaired a bathtub drain on the 2nd floor that was leaking on to the ground floor ceiling. Bernie declares upfront his labor rate and lets you know how extensive the problem may be as he troubleshoots real-time. His truck is stocked so no wasted time going to HD for a basic part. He is experienced, knowledgable, respectful of his clients' needs and communicates well. Be&Be Plumbing is a small business planted in the community. It is not a large company that covers a large swath of the Bay Area and advertises, ""Serves fill-in-your-city-search-name and the Surrounding Area"". It is nice to have a local plumber in my Rolodex who will be the same guy who comes out if another service job comes up in the future!

Bernie at Be & Be plumbing is fantastic!!! I've called on him twice for clogged pipes (2 toilets and 2 showers wouldn't drain) and both times he did excellent work and his rates were beyond reasonable.

The first time we had him come over, he was extremely friendly, professional and did a great job. Afterwards, I looked online and found that for the work he did, I would have been charged over twice the amount had I gone with Roto Rooter or one of those other mainstream companies.

The second call to Bernie was about 3 months later. A house sitter had clogged our lines with hair and, ahem, ""feminine products"" (we later discovered). Bernie was in the neighborhood and was at our house within 20 minutes of our call. He repeated the job he did on his first visit, and once finished, he refused to let us pay him for the work he did since it was within the warranty period of his previous visit.

It's wonderful to have a plumber to call who I can trust will do great work and won't screw me over. I'll be going to Be & Be for years to come :-)
