Came quickly, very friendly. Took time to explain & gave very honest advice. Would definitely use again!

Rude and unprofessional. I should've taken the hint from their attitude on the phone. Once here, they did the job. It was an easy enough repair, so I can't speak to their skills with anything complex. I wouldn't give them my money again.

INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL. First, notifies that they would be arriving behind schedule. This was perfectly fine and respected the communication, however, showed up almost an hour later than the modified time. Throughout the ENTIRE process of fixing a drain in the driveway, they SCREAMED profanities (so loudly that I heard every word with my window closed and the TV on). This was primarily done by the older gentleman to the other in a way that was condescending and complete disrespectful, repeatedly referring him to ""retard"" and several other profanities. I would not recommend Beasley Plumbing to anyone.

I found Mr. Beasley to be professional, knowledgeable and very thorough. He made sure my husband and I understood the problem we experienced and assisted us to know how to best prevent it from reoccurring. Even though the backup in our basement was significant and ultimately required he pull up the carpet in our game room, when Mr. Beasley completed the job, you could not tell he had been there (other than the basement floor was cleaner than before he came!). When Mr. Beasley called the next day to check to be sure we were having no additional back ups, I knew I needed to recommend him to anyone locally in need of a plumber.

Alex plastered my living room ceiling on 5/12/2016. I was very disappointed in the quality of work. He admitted the job was above is ""skill level."" I wished Alex would have admitted that before he took the job and communicated with me (the homeowner), not the tenant.

Beasley Plumbing's tagline is ""We take the STING Out of your Plumbing Woes"", but, in my experience, Beasley Plumbing is the KILLER bee that puts the HURT back into your contracting woes.

Alexander W. Beasley of Beasley Plumbing in Swissvale is as unprofessional as they come. He is a scam artist in my opinion, and all of the following facts can be verified via onsite video of the property and 2 independent witnesses.

I am a responsible homeowner, respectful of other's time, space and skills. As a former teacher, I am also a very patient and caring person so I want others have pleasant experiences with contractors and not fall victims to scam artists and bullies. Here is my experience with Mr. Beasley of Beasley Plumbing.

Mr. Beasley agreed to provide a free quote for a residentual plumbing rehab project for a house that was built in the 1950s and was to arrive at 10 AM. He called 45 minutes late to say that he had gotten lost. I agreed that he could still come over even though it was 10:45 AM, since he stated that he was only 10 minutes away. He arrived an HOUR later at 11:45 AM--almost 2 HOURS LATE.

When Mr. Beasley and his un-named associate entered my property, both men had an extremely strong LIQUOR smell on their breath and/or person. Beasley Plumbing was supposed to quote the installation of PEX plumbing lines in the bathroom and kitchen as well as the installation of the associated fixtures. Mr. Beasley came in the door with such a poor attitude complaining about other plumbing projects and how stupid customers are. He stated that he spent 7 years in school for plumbing; he also stated that he is a master plumber and he would not give any free advice, so don't expect it. I explained that I did not want any advice, I simply needed a quote so that I could choose a plumbing contractor.

He peeked into the gutted bathroom for literally 10 seconds or less, then walked into the kitchen, glanced around and started a verbal assault. He behaved drunken, belligerent, aggressive and insulting saying such things as the existing plumbing was trash and put in by someone stupid. I explained that the house was built in the 1950s and I was in the process of bringing it up to code. Then he told me that I owed him for a quote charge of $95.00--when he clearly offered and I accepted a free quote when I first made the appointment with him. I explained that I didn't want free work--just the free quote that he promised. His combative language, tone and aggressive nature quickly made me feel unsafe, so I soon begged off which really aggravated him. He stated that I was stupid to even believe that I was going to get a free quote because he, Mr. Beasley, is like a doctor and no one expects a doctor to do work for free. After a few tense minutes, he relented and agreed to abide by his promise.

His voice was booming throughout the house and I was tryig to encourage him to go as gently as I knew how. I don't know if you'be ever been physically intimidated by anyone, but, I started to feel heart palpitations and a quite a bit of anxiety. I started to think of all the things that I should have done differently, like let everyone know the name of who I was meeting, had him come in by himself instead of with another male, tell him that I had a job outside for him to see--then lock the door behind him. My mind was racing and so was my heart.

As Mr. Beasley and his associate were leaving, from my window I could see that he was lingering next to my car, which really alarmed me. At that same time, a carpentry contractor was arriving for his scheduled appointment and witnessed Mr. Beasley URINATING on my front lawn near the car. To be exact, he said Mr. Beasley was ""taking a leak in the yard."" The carpentry contractor also stated that both men reeked of alcohol at that time of the morning. At that point I just wanted Mr. Beasley to drive away. After leaving, I kept getting harassing calls from 412-475-0020; it was Mr. Beasley.

Beasley Plumbing's tagline is ""We take the STING Out of your Plumbing Woes"", but, in my experience, Beasley Plumbing is the KILLER bee that puts the HURT back into your contracting woes.

His $95.00 per hour charge to do the work and his free ""come on"" SCAM of an estimate was not worth the headache of dealing with such behavior from a contractor. I realize that the police should have been called with his urinating incident, but I just wanted to move on and not generate any more further conflict.

It is my experience and opinion that Alexander W. Beasley can be DANGEROUS without provocation. His credentials checked out on the state and county websites. I never want to be Forensic Files tv show case file, so I'll DO MORE THAN JUST CHECK OUT CREDENTIALS from now on. I only wish that I had checked YELP first to see the other review by James L. At least I would have been more aware of his scam.

If I could have rated Beasley Plumbing lower, I would have.

We called and were glad we did. Reliable, affordable and professional service with a smile. All codes and permits were handled efficiently, communication was top notch and yes even the plumbing inspector was happy. Thank you so much for solving our plumbing woes. We appreciate the opportunity to work with you.

Part idiot and part scam artist. Called him to replace a pressure reduction valve. He immediately gets 'distracted' by the water heater system on the other side of the basement, which isn't up to the most current code. Claims he can't fix the PRV without bringing the entire water heating system up to code. Quotes me $400.

When I protest, he calls 'Flazell' on his cell phone with the 'city health department.' We are in the borough. The borough doesn't have a health department. Neither does any other city or municipality in Allegheny County. Furthermore 'health departments' do no enforce building codes. Scam.

After he left I bought a PRV and installed it myself. $65 for the part, four twists of my wrist and a $335 savings.
