I needed two new water lines for my existing refrigerator and dishwasher. I told the representative exactly that on the phone. This very LARGE plumber with an attitude shows up at my door. He see's the work and proclaimed he doesn't move appliances. He is So fat he can hardly move and I'm paying by the hour. Two trips to the truck from the 15 floor of my condo. about a half hour. Complaining all the time. When finished he says """" time flies when your having fun"""" an hands me a bill for $ 279.00. if you use these people your crazy. If I could give them NO stars I would.

Chris came out and repaired our toilet and faucet water pressure today. He was very thorough, cleaning one of the parts to see if that would work before replacing it and it did. The cost was reasonable and I was very pleased with the whole experience, thank you.

They arrived earlier than committed on a desperation call no other company had time for, figured out a complicated mess a prior and incompetent contractor had left. I would call again.

Bears plumbing man driving a van almost ran me off the road when I was walking. Had to jump up onto a curb before my foot would get run over.

They charge $49 to come to your house to give you an estimate. Their prices are ridiculously high. I suggest looking elsewhere.

I highly recommend Bear's Plumbing in Naples, FL. My last appointment was a positive experience. The service tech, David, was polite and understood fully the plumbing problems. He called before my appointment time and showed up, pretty much on time. The repairs on the toilet and two sinks were all done very quickly. David cleaned up after the job. Finally the bill was very reasonable. We are very happy with them. These are the reasons I would call them again.

I expected to pay retail price for the disposal, and I expected to pay $100 for an hour's labor. I also expected to pay a trip charge, which is $50. Since HD's retail price for the identical disposal is $80 I expected to pay a total of $230 plus tax. Bear's charged me $360 plus tax, or $130 over the retail prices of all three (part, labor, trip charge.) The tech's response to my question was """"we price it by the task"""" and """"I don't control the pricing"""".

Even though the prior owners recommended Bear's last time I needed a plumber I called someone else because of the reviews. The company I called had 4+ stars and Bear's had 1+. This is what I found Timing: other company - horrible. They said they'd be here at 10am. They showed up at 5pm. Bear's was actually early! I didn't wait a second. Competence of Plumber: other company - on the edge of incompetent. Spent more time talking about how he wasn't going to rip me off then he did helping me. Did an ok job on one task, did a poor job on another task. Bear's - this guy was a professional. Outstanding, A+. Knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Didn't wasn't a moment of my time. Did the job right and well. Pricing - about the same. Actually, Bear's was a bit cheaper. Call Bear's and be done.
