Kenneth H.The review should be a 10+ not a 5. Jim, was very professional and more than honest and fair what he charged. He went above and beyond what we asked him to do. As a former Marine he certainly epitomizes those values. He should be your first call for plumbing problems!!!!
Jim has helped me out on a couple of occasions. Reliable, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.
Sarah T.I called Jim after a bad experience with a larger company plumbing service. He came over within the hour and fixed my toilet for an incredibly reasonable price. He was kind, reasonable, and I could tell he is an honest person who does honest work. I'll be using him moving forward for any plumbing needs. My dogs also loved him and he gave them very nice pets.
Would never use them even if I could get in touch with them. It's been going into the 3rd week and they haven't called me to set up an installation date for my appliances. AND, the phone number posted on their website is on PERMANENT BUSY.
Nicole S.Knowledgeable, speedy and reasonable! Doesn't cut corners. We've had Jim perform an emergency leak repair underground on a weekend and replace our hot water heater, which involved retrofitting water, gas and vent piping.
Mark N.Jim was our plumber in Connecticut and was great...he has already done plumbing work for us here in central Virginia and was great. Jim only knows one way to do things...the right (and fair) way!!
Jim Beardsley was very professional. He is very reasonable priced. He was very accommodating and helpful. If and when I need a plumber again I will be sure to call Beardsley Plumbing.
Jim is a true professional - he did a great job for me at a very reasonable price. It's a pleasure to work with someone who likes to do things the right way rather than the easy way... highly recommended.
Kris N.I was a customer of Jim's when we lived in CT. About a year ago, my husband ran into Jim at Lowes and learned that Jim had recently moved to VA. Jim fixed a water softening system in my home in CT that no other plumber would touch. Everyone else wanted to replace the system but Jim fixed our existing unit and saved us a lot of money.
Jim also replaced our hot water heater in CT at a very reasonable price. He is reputable and charges a very fair price.
I will be calling him for all my plumbing needs in VA and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good plumber.
I don't usually write reviews, but had such an unbelievably positive experience yesterday that I have to sing the praises of Jim Beardsley. He went above & beyond for my family yesterday in ways I haven't before experienced.
I've been trying to replace a dishwasher for the last two months. Despite going through Lowes installation program, Lowes sales reps ordered two dishwashers, at two different times, which did not properly fit in our space. After the first contractor and sales rep choose a dishwasher that was too large, Lowes sent Jim to remeasure and take over the project. When at Lowes to pick up the second dishwasher for us yesterday, Jim immediately noticed that the second dishwasher chosen by Lowes sales reps would not work in our home as well (it would have fit, but been way too small, leaving large gaps on either side of the under-the-counter dishwasher.) Instead of installing the small one and moving on to his next customer, he worked with the Lowes installation folks to go into their stock, find a dishwasher that he could manipulate to fit in our space, got Lowes to give me a refund/repurchase, then delivered and installed the correct dishwasher. All I had to do was give him permission to do it all over the phone. He voluntarily took an extra 2 hours to solve what was already a 2 month headache, and could have easily been another month+ long project.
Jim was my hero yesterday. He's kind, efficient, beyond reasonable, and no B.S. In my opinion, there is no other plumber to call in Charlottesville. Please call him for any future plumbing related need.
