The basemen tof our church flooded Tuesday, July 11, 2023, because the sump pump had stopped working. I called Beard Sewer & Drain, who had done work for us in the past. They loaned me a pump til they could get a new one in. They accessed a pump on Thursday, and installed it. Really good people to work with.

Last night I had the dial for the bathtub drain stick. Really stick. I could not easily close the drain in order to fill the tub (finally gave up and just stomped on the drain plug itself to close it) and later, struggled to open it with the dial. I noticed that the drain itself worked, but was very s-l-o-w. The mechanics, again, remained really stiff.
My husband called the Beard Sewer & Drain company this morning and, today--the SAME DAY HE CALLED!--Richard, the technician, came and fixed it. !! He explained what he did, taking apart the twisty plug and getting it to work, plus he cleaned out the drain itself (oh, the shame of a gunky drain!) taking care of the entire problem within the hour. The charges (service fee plus cost of the work) were most reasonable and would recommend Beard Sewer & Drain for anyone needing service.

Outrageous. They ripped off my father by charging him $675 to clean out a drain. They were there for less than an hour and there was absolutely nothing challenging about the location.

I should have stopped him from paying, but he's stubborn. In no way was the price anywhere close to reasonable. Avoid at all costs and use at your own risk.
