Friendly technician. Very straightforward and patient explanation of the problem. The only weird thing was the billing. When I called for after-hour emergency service for our heater not working, they said the hourly rate for that time was $90 and it was a 1 hour min charge. Ok, I needed it. The Ned day I got a call and the man said it would be $180. After some talking he charged me $100. Just kinda sketchy

We love Bear Valley Heating. Tony is great. He is very responsive and can come out quickly for repairs and assessments. We use him for our rental property every time we need something with our heater.

Tony knows his business. Our high efficiency furnace stopped working in late afternoon...the error codes pointed to the pressure switch or maybe the igniter. When he took the access panel off, the furnace started up... He then noticed a lot of debris in the combustion area...mice. The air supply pipe had been colonized from the outside entry all the way to the furnace, @20'; and was totally obstructed. He then spent 2 hours over 2 days, and no parts, cutting and removing the PVC pipe to vacuum out all the nesting material; and making the air entry point mouse proof. He also checked a couple of other things to make sure there were no other potential problems. I considered his hourly charge reasonable.

Absolutely awesome service! We were definitely having trouble finding somebody to come out to fix our heater ! We called Bear Valley Heating company and in less than two hours total they came out fixed the problem and now our heater is working great! Super excited to of found such a great heater tech who is knowledgeable and quick!! Thank You!!

After screwing up my DIY attempt at replacing my thermostat I called and they arrived in one hour (two other companies couldn't come today, one said they were 10 days out) Well my mess up was fixed in 20 minutes and the bill was way less than another wanted. Thanks you are the best!

Of course the heater stopped working just as we were leaving the mountain. But Tony said, want me to come over now, I said yes please. He was over in 10 minutes. It was the igniter which he not only fixed right then, but had the part with him on his truck.
I would give him 6 Stars if this review app let me.

Thanks Tony. We won't forget you. He charged a fare amount even though it was Sunday evening. Smart man knows his stuff. Efficient, professional and very knowledgeable. HIGH RECOMMEND TONY!

Tony and Shawn are my heroes!!! We had guests staying at our cabin. They arrived to find that the furnace would blow only COLD air, and wouldn't turn off! A snow storm is on the way, it's 35 degrees, the sun is going down, and every heating place in Big Bear is swamped - can't help us until mid-morning the next day. Our 8 guests (4 of them children) were freezing. Tony sent Shawn - it took over an hour for him to become available, but he came, and got the heat ON!! Thank you, Bear Valley Heating! Tony, Shawn, you really saved us, and the freezing family who just wanted to enjoy lovely BBL.

Came to my cabin to find my main furnace and the wall unit in my game room were not working. I called Bear Valley Heating because it looked like this is what they specialize in, not plumbing or sheet metal work.

Tony came out within 3 hours. He found the problem with both of my heaters. I'm warm and toasty now.
