I had them replace a water softener, the plumber didn't remove the salt before taking out the old unit. They left huge scratches in my cherry flooring. Sent out several people to LOOK at it never fixed it and ignored my calls and complaints. Several people said the company would fix it and nothing. I even have extra flooring to replace the damaged planks.

They charged a huge amount for about an hour of work. Had a plumbing problem and decided to call Bear Plumbing because they were a local business. They came out to the house promptly and made repairs. Did not give any sort of estimate and spent only about an hour on premises. A couple days after the repairs, received the invoice and it was very high with no explanations, just a quick description of diagnosed and repaired and please pay this amount. I requested and received another invoice that had a list of materials used and pricing and the labor breakdown and pricing. Materials were charged around double compared to the retail prices on the same exact parts. Labor was more than a couple hundred dollars for the short time they were there. Repair was good but I feel gouged by the surprise pricing.

Like others who've reviewed Bear, I had a terrific experience. A few weeks ago, we had a gas leak and called another plumber (a competitor) to fix the simple leak so the gas could be turned back on. That leak cost me over $400, but while the other plumber was here, I got an estimate on a couple of other things that needed to be done around the house. The estimate for the other things was also over $400, which seemed excessive. After thinking about it, I decided to check around and found Bear, so I made an appointment for the following week. They did great work and the total bill was well under $300. I couldn't have been more pleased with them. They arrived on time, worked quickly so I could leave for another appointment, and cleaned up after themselves. I am already thinking of another couple of items that need to be done and will get them on our calendar within the month. From now on, Bear is the only plumber I'll call. ;)

I called Bear in the morning and they were able to come out in the afternoon even though they had a packed schedule. They also fixed my issue quickly and I wasn't overcharged. I would recommend them for sure. Dan and Austin were the men that came out to do the work and they were great. Thank YOU Bear!!!!! You really did a great job!!!!

I decided to change out my whole house water filter ON CHRISTMAS DAY! I should have known better. It sprung a BEAR of a water main leak. Ice cold water was coming out like a lawn sprinkler. I finally got the water turned off but, of course, no one fixes leaks on Christmas. So, I wait until first thing in the morning the day after to find a plumber.

I called Bear and talked to Charlotte. She said her Dad would be out soon round 2PM. WOW! He arrived right at 2 with his apprentice Josh and they had me up and running in no time. When I got the bill, I thought that it wasn't enough for all the things they did.

CALL THESE GUYS! You will not be disappointed.

Cannot say enough great stuff about this company. Bear came out to unclog a drain and he got that done so fast he put a new faucet in my kitchen and relit the pilot light on my hot water heater. They turned a bad situation into a great experience. Already talked to them about a bathroom remodel!!! Would never hesitate to call them again-they do it all!!!!

Absolutely had the best experience. Unfortunately on a Saturday night two weeks ago I discovered our failing water softener sprang a leak. It was plumbed wrong so it was call or shut the water off to the whole house. They arrived and we reviewed all our options and chose to remove it and cap the lines. They were super nice and friendly considering it was 1030PM. Still waiting on their replacement softener estimate though......
