Beantown AC officially launched in June of 2005. G. Bradley, the owner, started as a one-man operation working from his van and his father's garage. The foundation of our business rests on three key principles: superior service and installations, impeccable customer support, and reasonable pricing. The initial years were challenging, but G. persevered and pushed through.

Beantown hvac is a company that is a discredit to all honest service professionals striving to provide honest service to all local homeowners. I know from my own experience that they are dishonest, incompetent and expensive. If you have them repair anything please ask for an itemized bill so that they can pay all the taxes on the parts they charge you for to the Massachusetts tax authorities so that we don't have to subsidize the taxes they do not rightfully pay. If you call them once, I am sure you will never call them again.

New gas hot water heater Beantown installed failed to stay lit due to excessive high winds in our area in Cedarville. Sean discovered that the original vent cap had been damaged by these winds allowing for a forceful down draft blowing out the pilot. He researched a wind resistence exhaust cap, ordered one, removed the old damaged cap and we're back in business!!! Fast, efficient and courteous... only charging me $50 for the cap and no service fees. Beantown is the best - Thanks Sean!!!

We highly recommend Beantown Home services for air conditioning and electrical services. Losing our air conditioner just before the Fourth of July was not ideal. Beantown sent Kevin Hickey, project coordinator, who met with us to help us choose a replacement within 2 days and scheduled installation of our new air conditioner within 5 business days! He understood our predicament and made sure we were comfortable with our choices. Each person we came in contact with was very professional and helped us to make the right choices for our home. Steve Bradley and his crew of Rayshawn, Armando and Zach worked tirelessly in the July heat to make us comfortable. More electrical work was needed and Zach Barro came prepared to fix the circuit breaker and install a surge protector to protect us from more power outages and lightning storms! We can't say enough about the quality of work, clean-up, and professional manner for all of these knowledgeable hard workers! And to top it off, we were able to get a Mass Save discount! Thank you Beantown and a very special thank you to Kevin, Steve, Rayshawn, Armando and Zach!

Bought a new heat and hot water system from Bean Town in November of 2020. The hot water has broken 4 times in that time frame and it is currently not working again. They can't come out till Monday. The stupid system is under warranty but we are out of luck until Monday because to them not having hot water is not an emergency!!!!! I have 6 kids in my house and not hot water because of the faulty product they sold me.

They came in January to replace our furnace. They removed the old furnace on Monday and left us with not heat for 4 days. Very poor management.

Early June we had a hot day and AC did not come on. Called Beantown and made an appt. Had to wait 10 days. Lady said needed $169 to confirm appt. Gave credit card thinking it was to get estimate.Eric came, he is very knowledgeable and obviously an expert. In no time he advised the concern was not the AC, but, instead was our Generac generator. He said he could bypass the generator so we would have AC. Took Eric about 20 minutes to bypass and AC worked. Additional charge was $185 for total $354. I called the office for a question...I asked ""I thought 169 charge to give estimate for repair""; wrong...169 is to schedule appt. My other question was: could Eric call since I failed to ask, if generator would still work and would it mess up the bypass when it came on for test purposes (happens every 2 weeks). She said someone would call. That was about 4 weeks ago. I am left with several thoughts 1)$169 without estimate seems high...guess it is to have a Beantown van in my driveway; 2)we have $354 into this and it is not totally repaired; 3)asked if they could take care of repair...no they do not do Generac repairs. I realize no one works for nothing, but, my yearly visit to my cardiologist with testing takes 1 1/2 hours and is less expensive. Should have just called my electrician...his rate is more reasonable.
