Had them out for a quote, technician tried to tell me I needed a new electrical panel for $2000 which I do not at all need, just needed a screw driver and 5 minutes to tighten the breakers, it was boarder line criminal. Additionally he gave me quotes to replace a number of other fixtures that were 2-4 times the cost of multiple other quotes even after the discount he was giving me for paying almost $200 for a yearly subscription service. Don't bother with this rip off company.

I purchased a residential load calculation to consider adding an EV charger. It took three calls over a week before I finally got the worksheet, and it was filled out for the wrong county. I asked whether the calculation indicated I either had or lacked the necessary capability. I never got the promised answer, so I guess I was lucky I didn't hire them to do the conversion.

Amy, who set the appointment, and Jonathan B. who was the phenomenal technician that replaced my garbage disposal, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and got the job done perfectly. I wanted to upgrade my exterior lighting. Beacon recommended a Ring fixture. Nelson our installer did a super job. More importantly he walked me through all the steps to install the software on both my phone and my wife's phone. Be aware Rings work really well. At 2:30 in the morning we had an intruder on our back deck.... it was such a cute little Raccoon family. Beacon does it right!

My garage lights blew out suddenly. Within a few hours Beacon was out to diagnose the issue. Chris was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He made the process easy, within a couple of hours he replaced our garage lights. Highly recommend Chris and Beacon for their same day service!

Words do not explain how disappointed I am with the level of service you all failed to provide with a scheduled appointment last Friday , you all were suggested by a Neighboor who say you are the best so made an appointment the previous Wednesday for Friday morning, come Friday get a text saying hi this is Rebecca from scheduling your block time is 11-4, three hours later , block time is changed 12-5, 2 hours later txt saying we are running behind reschedule Monday or Tuesday , as everything is they txt and the only provided number is an remote working employee who doesn't know this Rebecca they send a urgent ticket and get a txt 3 hours later a tech is on the way , this was at 3:45, at 6 reply to text and get a call saying there was confusion that he isn't available , all day with no results for this I give a 1 star for both customer service , dependability , wasting my entire day, I'm sure if anyone one of their employees went to a restaurant and waited 9 hours they would expect some compensation , if they flew and arrived 9 hours late they would demand refund or some comp, but if they show up and do a project 9 hours late they would still expect their $800 or press legal action

I have been a customer since 2019 and a Lighthouse Club member since 2022. From my first visit, when electrician Andre found a wiring problem in my house that could have caused a fire, to my most recent request, when plumber Cesar greeted my dog, who loves him, like an old friend, I am always pleased with Beacon technicians' work. They are not the cheapest, but I find their prices fair, and I am willing to pay for quality work and skilled workers. I always appreciate it when Amy and the other dispatchers can get me a same-day appointment if there is a real problem.

Complete waste of my time. When they arrived I showed them the two items that I had requested. Then I asked about other items to be added While we were walking around I asked the estimate to be separated by room so that I could choose to not do certain items So they started counting fixtures (by acting busy they didn't need to reply to my request)

They briefly showed me the estimate on a tablet which was 20k - I didn't notice that the line items didn't have pricing. When I received the bid in my email, only the bottom line had a price


Waste of my time and theirs.

One more sales tactic. I received a phone call immediately after they left asking for a review. I stupidly gave them a good review!

The company understands I want a breakdown but ""there system doesn't allow it"". When asked for a breakdown I was provided with this Information: 55% Operating expenses, 26% Labor and benefits, 12% Materials and 7% Profit

Would never hire this company again. From lying to the inspector, to corrupt salesmen practices to get me to pay 30x more then the original quote. I would highly recommend you stay away from this company.

Had a great experience with Beacon installing a new water heater and a couple of other things. They were much more attentive and caring than the other plumbing service I contacted for an estimate, and better priced as well.
