We had a plumbing emergency over the holiday weekend, but didn't have a plumber. I looked through Yelp and called Paul, not really sure if I would get a call back. Not only did he promptly return my call, he was at the house shortly thereafter. He told me up front about the holiday double fee, which I completely expected. After he fixed the problem, he cut us a break on pricing. First time customer.....emergency call on Holiday weekend.....I was blown away by his service and professionalism. Glad we have a plumber now! I highly recommend Beach Cities Plumbing!

I'm not sure why anyone would give Beach Cities Plumbing a bad rating.

I live in a rented unit and usually have to call our landlady to fix the plumbing. The first 2 years she sent out Beach Cities Plumbing and Paul Jr. has always come on time and fixes our issues. He never complains and is always very polite. Even my pups love him.

The third year our landlady decided to cut corners and start using her own people. Not only did they muck up the plumbing in the unit next door, it cause a flood into our unit. We informed the landlady what her people did and she sent them to our unit to ""snake"" out whatever was causing the back up. The plumber told us there was no problem and that it was our washing machine. Worse experience ever with that plumber, so I called Beach Cities to ask them to come out. I explained that I would have to pay out of pocket cause our landlady didn't want us to use them any longer. Paul Sr. was so kind he gave me a good deal over the phone. When Paul Jr showed up, he fixed the issue and said that the pipes needed to be snaked just a bit deeper. He then went out and checked the sewer pip and told us there as a branch growing into the pip that cause a gaping hole. Since we're renting and our landlady is cheap, we just call Paul Jr every so often so he can cut through the branch. Never over charges and always has a smile.

The ultimate kindness from Paul Jr...
When my daughter started chemo therapy, she was losing a lot of hair and it would go down the drain. We tried buying several catch stoppers so we wouldn't have to constantly call Paul Jr to come and clean her drain. When we finally did, we were embarrassed cause we knew what the issue was. Paul Jr. told us never to be and he would be happy to come out whenever it gets clogged again. He even recommended the TubShroom and it works great.

Thank you so much Beach Cities Plumbing for always coming to our rescue.

Marco Salas-Salem and Eric Stewart are the best! They will do anything from cleaning out a kitchen drain to installing plumbing in new construction. They are the trusted subcontractor for my contractor, so I know they can do the big stuff. But I like their personal commitment to the small stuff, which is what I and my friends need them for. They are totally trustworthy, clean, and responsible. They come quickly and politely, and always cheerful. Thanks Marco and Eric.

The guys just left and I am very pleased. They showed up as promised - ON TIME! Solved a minor problem with a hose bid quickly and efficiently; cleaned up after their work and even poured the excess water in the garden space rather than dump it on the driveway!

Clean, efficient and ecological! What more could you ask for!

We are not sure why these other people are writing reviews about Beach Cities Plumbing on this particular page, but we can tell you that REDONDO SERVICES will continue to take care of our rental property ANY TIME. They were fast, efficient and we ABSOLUTELY loved Dominic. He's was personable, professional and more importantly we appreciated all the little tips he shared with us freely. If you want a reliable and honest plumber. THIS is the company to call.

Beach Cities Plumbing is not a good company to deal with. I spoke with Paul Jr. and he said he would be out to fix our plumbing the next day and he never showed up and didn't even call. I called him again and he promised me another day and again no show and no call. He was VERY rude. We had a worker waiting on him also and Paul told him he would be there and again never showed and no call. I would never recommend them. Terrible company to deal with. Very unprofessional.

I have been using Beach Cities Plumbing for almost 15 years. They are honest, efficient, and go above and beyond when needed. Last night Paul Jr came out after 10 p.m. for an emergency leak in my wall and patched it up. He wil be back out on Thursday to replace the pipe...and all for a reasonable price.

I have recommended them to many people over the years and all have had a good experience. I would highly recommend them!!

Paul at Beach Cities Plumbing have saved us again in our apt. complex. I highly recommend them to my neighbors and friend because we have to call on them several times during the year. They are honest and actuality fixes the plumbing instead of trying to upsale you.

I have nothing but the highest praise for Paul Ragone Jr. of Beach Cities Plumbing. We have a useless home warranty company called AHS who sent out 2 different plumbers over the course of a month when we heard water running in the pipes but did not see a leak anywhere. The first plumber refused to even crawl under the house to search, saying he did not have ""leak detection equipment"" and the second plumber crawled under, found what he described as a ""lake"" under the house and a burst pipe. He told us to immediately call a non--covered restoration company to come install fans and heaters to dry it out and said he would be back in 3 days to fix what he described as an easy fix. I quickly Yelped reviews of the restoration company and was appalled by the horrible reviews, and cancelled the appt with them. We shut off all water to the house and set up a fan to help dry it up, 3 days later, the ""lake"" had disappeared. We called the plumber to come fix the pipe, and the receptionist said that all their plumbers were busy and that no one could come out until Monday, which would have been a whopping 6 days without water. After some phone calls to AHS, the plumber finally showed up with another guy, with a bad attitude and a lecture, telling me that we should have used the restoration company he had recommended. Hmmm... I'm wondering if the bad attitude was due to losing a kickback from them? The soil itself was still damp, and he hectored the other plumber who crawled under the house, telling him facetiously, ""good luck, dude, you're going to get soaked"" and ""there's no way you'll be able to get under all those pipes to get close enough to fix it"". Sure enough, we could hear that plumber cursing and yelling under the house immediately before emerging to tell me that we were going to have to excavate under the house to create access or find a really skinny plumber (he was a normal sized guy). I then called AHS to tell them that I needed to be able to hire my own plumber and that they could reimburse me. Not only did the supervisor refuse to allow me to do that, she couldn't even find a plumbing company who could come out. 24 hours later, we still haven't heard a word from AHS. Finally, we did what we should have done in the first place, and called Beach Cities Plumbing. Paul Ragone Jr was at our house literally 2 minutes after I spoke to him, crawled under to check it out, emerged smiling, said it would be $200 to fix, and went right to work. 90 minutes later, he had the problem solved, and emerged from under the house once again, happy and smiling. He handed me the bill, and only charged us $175, saying it hadn't been difficult at all. Paul is an average sized guy as well, and said that there was no way the other plumber wouldn't have been able to access the pipe. So, after a month of water running under the house creating a lake and what I'm sure will be an astronomical water bill, and 3 days without any water to the house at all, we can finally use our plumbing again. Paul Jr is our new hero! What a great kid, with SUCH a kind spirit and great attitude. We will never call AHS to take care of plumbing problems ever again. Paul Jr of Beach Cities Plumbing is our plumber for life! His direct number is 310 720-9983.
