I am with a property management company b and e router does a great job and goes over and above on the job they always make sure the job is cleaner than when they showed up they show up on time and work around tenets schedules to get the job done I would recommend this company over and over again

We've used B & E for our business and for our residential rental properties and have had nothing but great experiences with them. We'd hired a different plumber, licensed, who also did handyman work for us, and he not only charged substantially more, he also claimed the pipes into one of our rental properties needed to be completely replaced and would cost in excess of $8,000. We called B & E in, and the completely cleared the drains for less then $200!! We've used them again and again. In fact after B & E cleared the drains at our business, the drains became clogged again 2 weeks later. B & E came out and cleared them again, at no charge!! We love them, and will continue to use them -- in fact, I am just getting ready to call them again, for a completely new problem!!

I don;t like to write negative reviews but here I feel I am doing a service to other customers. My experience was not good.

First, the two guys came one hour late. Second, they did not get the job done. They snaked twice, found roots in the drain (unsurprisingly, since this is a 100 years old house), noted that the pipe is still clogged and then refused to complete the job unless I fork out another $250 for an additional hour of work. They suggested that I replace the pipes and quoted ~ $7500 just to excavate the pipes (not including the actual replacement).

Since this was my first time with a Roto Routing company, I paid what now seems almost a double of the going rate. Here is what is on my invoice (and what I paid):

-$195 for the snaking (on the high end, especially since the pipes were still clogged by the time they were ""finished""). (Electric Rooter charged $135!!!)

- Toilet removal: $155 (!): ridiculous for 5 min work. Other guys (the Electric Rooter, which actually did the work, charges $40!!!).

- Camera inspection: $250. I was pressed into this totally useless job which took them 5 minutes and brought zero insight.

Why was Electric Rooter successful when B&E Rooter failed? Their machine seemed much newer and stronger, with a longer snake.

Finally, I went with this company because of the recommendation by Manwill Plumbers Co. with whom I had a good experience last year. Needless to say, I am angry and will never work with either company again.

All in all, the charge was $620 whereas the Electric Rooter charged $135 for the same job but, unlike B&E, actually DID the work. As you can see, I am a bit upset about all this. I feel like a sucker. I do NOT recommend this company.
