So... I chose BDP based on their reviews here on Yelp. I also like to support small businesses. Unfortunately, this is not a business I can support again and I am writing this review to inform any future customers.

The good news: they were responsive at first. When I needed a technician to come by and look at the prospective work, Shaun arrived the very day I called. I thought I was in good hands.

However, since then, I have had nothing but neglect from the company. I have a mainline issue. I cannot even use my kitchen sink. They are fully aware of this. I explained that I need a quote with the ""scope of work"" (i.e. cost for each aspect of the job) so my insurance will begin the process and I can have my sink back.

Here's where things get bad. I've spoken with Shaun and Darin on multiple occasions. Both promised me this quote for weeks. Having now spent a month without a kitchen sink and still no quote, I'm going with a different company.

I cannot even speak to their work on repairs, as they never allowed it to get this far. However, if their delay on a simple quote is any indication of their repair work, I do NOT recommend them. Promise after promise, and I'm still cleaning dishes out of a bucket.

I'll be finding a new plumber. If you need a good and reliable plumber, I suggest you look elsewhere as well.

Also, Shaun tried using Darin's family emergency as an excuse for not getting me the quote. Yet, I spoke with Darin over the phone many times prior to any family emergency. Each time he gave me a specific day to provide the quote, stating, ""I'll have it to you by Thursday"", and the quote would never arrive. I'm sorry for any emergency he may have had, but this issue was unresolved for weeks prior to any emergency. I'm not buying the excuse.

We woke up yesterday, on a Saturday, to realize there was water under our floorboards in the kitchen and realized there was some sort of leak happening in one of the pipes. We were scrambling to find a solution and started reaching out to many different plumbing companies. I must have reached out to over 20+ plumbing services and everyone was booked for a couple days.

Darin at BDP services ended up being the greatest help! He was fully booked for the day and was unable to come out, however, Darin sent me the 2 best referrals that ended up being the only lights of hope in a dire situation. One referral was unable to come out as he was on a big job but he took the time free of charge to FaceTime with me to address the initial problem. The other referral ended up being the biggest blessing and fixed our problem with great pricing and positive energy!

The fact that Darin was busy and still took the time to send me 2 referrals and both of those referrals had the most positive energy and ended up being so helpful and fair and genuine speaks volumes to Darin's character and how he runs his business. I can assume without a doubt that his services are as solid as his character and we are so grateful for him because without his referrals we would not be here less than 24 hours later with a fully functioning water supply!

We had such a positive experience with BDP! Our water heat spring a leak Monday evening and after cleaning up the mess I sent a price quote request on Yelp to several companies. Darin was the second company to respond and he was professional and helpful from the start. My husband and I had questions about replacing with another tank vs. tankless and Darin was great with his answers. We felt like the choice was truly ours and even though he mentioned tankless can be a bit easier to install, he didn't push us either way. BDP had a water heater delivered to our house later that morning and the plumbers arrived EARLIER THAN EXPECTED for install that afternoon! My husband wasn't even finished with building a new platform for the tank to sit on and their team was super understanding and professional. We had a great experience and had hot water back within 24 hours of it going out. Thank you so much!! Oh, and did I mention their quote was almost half the cost of a larger company that also responded?? No need to gauge the customer...thank you for that!

Prompt response to my inquiry; showed up same day and completed warranty water heater replacement! Warranty paid for new water heater; not labor to install which was another $1500. Meant emptying & removing the old one & driving 60 miles one way to pick up the new one; returned and installed new one after dark; however, failed to mention the exhaust pipe needed to be extended ""to meet code"" & ""while I was there, I picked up 8' of double exhaust pipe"" which would be added to my prior quote; charged an add'l $250 to buy & install extended exhaust!?! Seems pretty steep...but I guess I had to pay the OT fee??? It is hard to find competent trades people who service this area, so I'm just grateful a knowledgeable person showed up & got the job done...

I am a senior citizen and this is one of the top companies I have ever dealt with!! Shaun came out and gave me a free estimate. After 5 more estimates, it turned out that Shaun's was the best. Also, his approach was far more logical and cost effective than all the others. They had to dig a trench through roots and then lay and connect a gas line. Avery tough and exacting task. He and his assistant Geo worked extremely hard and even through a rainfall the first day. They finished on time and their work was outstanding!! They thoroughly cleaned up afterward as well. They finished on time and everything works well. Trusting them with gas line work is a great idea. I giver them my highest recommendation possible.

These guys are excellent. From my initial contact to performing services, everything was really easy. I originally called about extending a dryer gas line, Shaun came out for an estimate and to see what parts he would need. He ordered them and we scheduled the service for another day.

The day of service came Shaun arrived and did the requested work in a timely manner. He even went above and beyond by advising to replace some other older components as preventative maintenance, he had the parts on hand and did that as well which saved me a headache and another visit in the future. I really appreciated that. Then he helped install and test the dryer. I was super impressed with him and his work ethic. The quote was true to the final work cost as well which is always a good thing.

I highly recommend bdp services, I now I'll go back should I need any future work done

Excellent service! I used them to remodel my bathroom, installing a bathtub, toto toilet and washlet. All done with perfection. Darin and Shaun guaranteed the jobs were done to my satisfaction. They are very professional and Shaun came out on Saturday morning to fine tune the alignment of my toilet seat.
They are very reasonable price and service is top notch. I plan to have them re-do the plumbing in my kitchen as well. Darin is always by his phone answering my text within minutes. You can definitely count on them.
They are much more knowledgeable than other plumbers I called, they know how to convert a shower to a bathtub and that's what they did for me. If you need to remodel your bathroom, they can do it all.
I am so glad to have found them. Thank you Darin and Shaun!

Highly recommend BDP Services, and specifically Shaun Peacock. Extremely fast response time, came straight from finishing another job.

Shaun wore a mask 100% of the time, was honest and able to quickly diagnose and repair a nasty leak in my house. I will not hesitate to contact them in the future for plumbing issues, and would recommend them to anyone.
