Called BDL Plumbing and was here within the hour. I had no hot water and he located the problem and had to replace one heating element. Cost was very reasonable and he was very knowledgeable.

I recently had a new dishwasher installed by a local box store. The first problem I had was the hose length. They sold me one that was too short, then they told me I had to go buy an extension and the hardware to connect them. Second time they came out they said the hose end wouldn't connect with my existing water valve. Said I needed a plumber and a new valve and that the old valve would have to be cut off because it was welded on. Just had BDL Plumbing (Larry Box) come out. They had my dishwasher hooked up in 10 minutes. It only needed a small adapter to connect the hose to my existing water line. Nothing needed to be cut off or replaced. While they were there I mentioned another plumbing problem that had been sitting there for months because Cooper & Bright couldn't fix it (and still charged me). Larry and his partner Damian fixed the problem by changing out a washer, something that was in their toolbox (which Cooper & Bright should have had). Both problems were taken care of within the price of their hourly charge, plus a small fee for the parts. I give them 5 stars for customer service and for their knowledge of how to solve a problem in the most simple way. They will have my business from now on.

I had a slow leak in my home that couldn't be detected easy. I use American Home Shield (AHS) and they sent out Value Rooter. When Martin (the Value Rooter rep) came, he did a cursory check and told me he was about 90% certain I had a slab leak. Unfortunately, having a tension wire foundation(?) AHS wont cover it. All signs pointed that way and I agreed with his assessment based on the evidence noticeable. Then he quoted me the price. $3200!
Needless to say, I had to check around for a more reasonable price.
We have a friend who had some plumbing work done recently and she suggested Larry from BDL Plumbing. We called Larry and explained what the other assessment was and the quote. Larry understood and quoted me a price less than half of Value Rooter!! We had Larry come out and he worked all day on what he had assessed as the problem. By the end of the day he told me straight, that it likely wasn't what the previous plumber and he had initially assessed. It would be a much simpler (and less expensive) fix. I don't blame this on him as he was honest about it and reduced his cost based on the misleading symptoms.
I am thouroghly satisfied with his work and more importantly his integrity. Larry will get my business again, if needed, and should get your business as well.
