They were hired through Home Depot for our flooring project to disconnect and reconnect our toilets. On the day to reconnect the 1st toilet and disconnect the other, C put the toilet back in and while his coworker disconnected our guest toilet. After they were finished, C called me into the bathroom to inform me my toilet had been leaking for a long time. There was evidence on the ground at disconnect as well as on the toilet that he cleaned up. I was furious at that point and asked why he didn't tell me prior to reconnecting the toilet?! He told me that it would be $300 to repair the gasket kit (2 bolts and a washer that connect the tank to the bowl....the parts are 7.99 for each toilet). My other option was to get a new toilet and then paid an additional $139 to take that one back out, which still would leave us with no working toilets on the job site until they could get back out to install it. He said my other toilet that was disconnected has the same problem. So unless I paid the $300 for install, then he was leaving me with no working toilets in my home! I talked to his manager about the nearly $300 labor charge to install the 2 bolts and washer and she said he can charge whatever he wants. It's for having a licensed plumber do the work and warranty it for a year. Needless to say, we went without working toilets until my husband got home and repaired both in 2 hours for $16 saving us $584. Upon review of our final orders on our flooring project, we found they tacked on an unauthorized charge of $100 to "move 4 appliances" which they did not! Home Depot promptly refunded that as moving the toilets (if that is the appliances they were billing for) is part of the disconnect and reconnect fee. And considering they upsold me for a 2 new flanges, the toilet has to be moved to put those in.

These guys SUCK SO MUCH THE ARE DRAWING WATER FROM THE GULF. They charged us just shy of $1,000.00 to install 2 toilets with new flanges and shutoff valves. This DOES NOT include the cost of the toilets. I bought them separately. This company is dishonest, immoral and unreliable. I would not rehire them to pick up dog poop in my back yard. These guys need to be investigated by the Texas Attorny General. Trust me, don't walk away, run as hard and as far as you can from this company.

Carlos came out to our house and removed and put back our toilets for flooring we are replacing from Home Depot. He did a great job! He showed us issues he found once he removed the toilets, we are truly grateful for. He was very courteous, cleaned up and around our toilets and even tightened up the toilet seats that were already loose before he came. I saw all the bad reviews and felt he personally deserved a good review.

Well, I had Home Depot do the tiling for my bathroom. BBS was subcontracted to remove toilets, when they removed the toilets, they stated I needed new flanges. Ok whatever. Total cost to replace two toilet flanges and put toilets back $1130!
$190 to remove toilets, $375 per flange. Keep in mind these were upstairs with wood floor, no concrete involved.
Took guy two hours to do job.
Appealed to Home Depot corporate, they stated this was a reasonable amount.
No more Home Depot for me. Welcome to Lowes!

(Long winded review)Just had a great experience. Was replacing a toilet in my master bath. I did the same for the guest bath and installed it myself. This time I was thinking I didn't want to bother with it. So I bought the toilet at HD and asked for them to install it. They said they go through 3rd party and someone would call in 24 hours to set up a time. Well I got the new toilet home and since I took out the old toilet the day before and my OCD didn't allow me to have an open whole (well one that was plugged cause of sewer gas) I installed it myself. After I was done I remembered why I wanted someone else to do it. It seemed to work for a time that day but then I noticed water slowly coming from the bottom. Frustrated I went to lunch and got a call from BBS about scheduling a time to install the toilet. I said I installed it but it is slowly leaking can someone come look at it. They said well since you installed it we have to charge a service fee (something like $50). I figured fair enough especially since they said someone could come the same day. Mark the plumber got here in the afternoon, very nice guy, and flushed the toilet and sure enough no leak. He did it a few times and no leak. Finally we notice some water and he said I believe you probably have a crack in the bowl with how slowly the water is coming out. Not what I wanted to hear but not unexpected. I of course didn't expect him to "fix" it but I did expect him to ask for the service fee cause he came out but he just said his good bye and that was it. He could easily asked for the fee as I was told there was a fee but he said I aint going to charge you for simply looking at it. While I am not happy there my be a crack it is nice to have a service call that didn't pile on. Thank you Mark. Once I pull the thing out and I do have a crack if I go back to HD I am going to have BBS install it

This is a horrible company to employ.
I was referred to BBS plumbing from Home Depot and was given the runaround from the very beginning. They did not call to schedule an appointment within 48 hours like I was promised, so I had Home Depot get a hold of BBS for me to try to schedule a tankless water heater appointment. I was given an 8 AM to 5 PM window but they never showed. I called two times to find out where they are and was told they were on another job. Without drawing this out any further the bottom line is they never showed up, they never offered any compensation and I was left to fend for myself. Home Depot needs to break ties with BBS.
In going to Lowes to see if they can do any better.

Home Depot sent this company to install a new push-button toilet in my master bathroom. This company removed my old toilet and accessed $75 in additional charges before telling me my new toilet wouldn't fit, leaving me without a toilet for three days now.

This was intended to be an upgrade to a more efficient toilet. My old toilet worked just fine, and my new push-button toilet was in the bathtub the entire time, including while this company managed to tack on $75 in additional charges but neglected to make sure the new toilet would fit before throwing away my old toilet.

This company should be avoided because they lack basic common sense and decency, and I also wouldn't ever trust Home Depot for an installation considering they contract with companies like this one.

I was referred to them by Home Depot and would honestly suggest Home Depot recommend another plumber. I needed to have two faucets installed. My complaints are similar to others I scheduled an appointment they could not give me a time frame of when someone would be out. I was ok with that since I work from home. They said they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I got a call but was on a call for work so I could not answer. I listened to the voicemail and they said I had 15 minutes to call before they cancelled my appointment. I called back 30 minutes after their call and was told the installer was cancelled because I did not answer the phone. I explained I was on another call and still needed the service, they then told me they couldn't get another installer out until next week.

We bought a garbage disposal at Home Depot and paid over $100 to have it installed. This is the plumbing company who called to set up installation. We had to schedule over a week out. At first I didn't think this was a big deal because of the holidays. We were told they couldn't give us a time window just that they would be here Monday. I called that morning to find out when to expect them but was told they could not give us a time but that the plumber would call when he was 30 minutes away. Now remember this was for a garbage disposal installation. I told them we had an electrical outlet but no existing disposal. They guy finally comes at 3pm. I've cleaned out the sinks and under the sink. One look and they guy says it would cost another $170 because he would need to rearrange the existing PVC pipes to install the disposal. Once again -- we paid over $100 for the installs of a $200 disposal. I was not about to give over another $170. He says he thought he was just replacing an existing disposal. Once again we were paying for the "installation of a disposal"! He proceeded to take pictures and then call his boss to say we would not pay the extra to INSTALL our disposal. He then told us that they charged a $75 fee for all calls and that we would have to take that up with Home Depot. He was rude, dismissive and I would never call this business for any services and will definitely not pay for installation for Home Depot products if this is the service we should expect. I felt as though this company was trying to take advantage of us.

I should have checked here first, but I trusted Home Depot. Took over a week to get an installation date, then the guy was late, and then the hooked up the toilet and said it leaked and he'd have to talk to Home Depot. He left and we heard nothing. Meanwhile, our old toilet that worked is buy the curb, Home Depot says he never called them, and I can't even take the broken one back unless I unhook it myself. What a joke! I had a previous toilet installed through Lowe's, and it was an easy process with them.
