Wish there was a way to give a negative star. The worst customer service I had ever had. Paid with a home depot purchase. Got a call from the plumber stating he would be here between 12 -2. Didn't show and quit answering his phone. Call the company and I was told they never give specific times and the plumber would call. He finally called and said he told me 2 -4. When I corrected him he went off the deep end. At 3:30 called and said he would be here in 30 minutes. By that time, I had cancelled with Home Depot and requested a refund. Home Depot deserves better than what this company offers.

This rating should be zero - they give you an all day window 8 to 5 they say they can't do any better than that and then they don't show up. Call me dumb but I gave them a three opportunities on the third one they promised me I could be the first appointment and again they never showed up. You can't really call in and complain because the calls go direct to a scheduling service it feels like they are actually subcontracting the work out as well.

Simply the worst! Home Depot contracts this group and it's a shame a great name brand is affiliated with this poor excuse for a company.

Apparently if you don't answer the phone during the expected timeframe they will cancel the appointment. Took the afternoon off work to care for this and was outside and didn't see the phone call and they cancelled....just never showed up.

What a joke!?!?!

If there was a zero rating, that is what I would give them. Engaged them through Home Depot's service installation for a new water heater. They said I would need to be at home from 8am to 5pm for an estimate, which I arranged to be. No one showed up until 5:30pm, with no phone call prior. They told me they'd have a quote to me next day. A week later, nothing. I repeatedly called their number, and no one picked up the phone, and no voice mail system available. I called Home Depot to find out what was going on. The next day I receive a text from them that I would need to get an inspection from the city...? Meanwhile, I received quotes from three other plumbers on site and one offered to replace it the next day. Worst experience with a vendor in my 22+ years of home ownership.

I setup request with Home Depot to have my bathtub replaced. BBS plumbing called to setup an appointment within the next few days. I was told they'd be there between 8-5pm. I stayed home from work to ensure I didn't miss the appointment. As it got closer to 5pm I called to see if someone was still coming and was told the plumber had 1 job in Fort Worth then would be headed my way. 2 hours later, no word from anyone. I called to confirm if someone was still coming but was put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally after 7pm as I'm still on hold with BBS plumbing's customer service, the plumber calls to say he's headed my way and should be there in 25 minutes. It's 7pm and still no one has shown up. I looked them up on Yelp and see all of the bad reviews and called back to cancel. If it's this much of a hassle to get a quote I can't imagine how it would be once they come out or if there's a problem after you've paid them. Things happen, I get it. But no communication and the plumber was so nonchalant almost as if it was a bother to him. Home Depot should find another plumbing company. However Tawan (BBS customer service) was very friendly and apologetic.

I had engaged BBS Plumbers through Home Depot for installing Water softener at my home in April 2018. They came to my home and saw the area and estimated to be 6 to 8 hours work. Mike was the manager and Carlos was the one doing the work. I showed them the pictures from my neighbor's work and they said they are going to do everything to look same and neat. On the day of work they came 4 hours late and they didn't have all the parts that they need. Carlos started the work but had to stop work after 7 or 8 hours. We had to reschedule to another day. Same thing other day also, half way through the work of again 5 to 6 hours they realized some parts are missing again. It took them 5 to 6 full days to install the water softener due to missing parts, lack of experience for Carlos, lack of guidance from Master plumber. Also, Half way through the day one, they mentioned that dry wall fix is not covered and I had to take that on my own. After going back and forth, they agreed to do it as they never told me it is not covered when they gave estimate. When the job is finished, I texted Mike (BBS Plumbers Manager) and the Drywall guy on the group text and asked if the dry wall fix can be scheduled and they came and fixed drywall. Later, City inspector came and failed the job they did it for 5 to 6 days. They installed the RPZ after water softener instead of before. City inspector saw it as a major blunder and had turned off the softener totally. Again Carlos came and did the job for a day or so, but tired to patch it instead of doing the way City can approve. So, City rejected again. Meanwhile, Mike wouldn't respond to me when I text him to finish the job. I had to call City inspector and he called BBS plumbers to get them going again. They came back again and cut the wall again to fix it. City, at last, approved it after a total of 7 to 8 days of working to install the softener. When I ask him to fix the wall finally, they say they already did it and not going to do it again. I am now hunting for drywall fix on my own. This is August 28, 2018.

A simple water softener installation that supposed to take 6 to 8 hours took 5 months and around 10 days of work, scheduling, conflicts and extra money from my pocket. The guy who came to install (Carlos) can only work under supervision whereas Mike left him on his own and he was doing all wrong. I had tell him that there is a vent for the RPZ and he had to have a drain for that vent. He didn't know anything and neither Mike routed him in the right direction.

Never ever go to BBS Plumbers. I called Home Depot and they said they see this job as closed long back and they neither responsible not can help me.

They were hired through Home Depot for our flooring project to disconnect and reconnect our toilets. On the day to reconnect the 1st toilet and disconnect the other, C put the toilet back in and while his coworker disconnected our guest toilet. After they were finished, C called me into the bathroom to inform me my toilet had been leaking for a long time. There was evidence on the ground at disconnect as well as on the toilet that he cleaned up. I was furious at that point and asked why he didn't tell me prior to reconnecting the toilet?! He told me that it would be $300 to repair the gasket kit (2 bolts and a washer that connect the tank to the bowl....the parts are 7.99 for each toilet). My other option was to get a new toilet and then paid an additional $139 to take that one back out, which still would leave us with no working toilets on the job site until they could get back out to install it. He said my other toilet that was disconnected has the same problem. So unless I paid the $300 for install, then he was leaving me with no working toilets in my home! I talked to his manager about the nearly $300 labor charge to install the 2 bolts and washer and she said he can charge whatever he wants. It's for having a licensed plumber do the work and warranty it for a year. Needless to say, we went without working toilets until my husband got home and repaired both in 2 hours for $16 saving us $584. Upon review of our final orders on our flooring project, we found they tacked on an unauthorized charge of $100 to "move 4 appliances" which they did not! Home Depot promptly refunded that as moving the toilets (if that is the appliances they were billing for) is part of the disconnect and reconnect fee. And considering they upsold me for a 2 new flanges, the toilet has to be moved to put those in.

These guys SUCK SO MUCH THE ARE DRAWING WATER FROM THE GULF. They charged us just shy of $1,000.00 to install 2 toilets with new flanges and shutoff valves. This DOES NOT include the cost of the toilets. I bought them separately. This company is dishonest, immoral and unreliable. I would not rehire them to pick up dog poop in my back yard. These guys need to be investigated by the Texas Attorny General. Trust me, don't walk away, run as hard and as far as you can from this company.

Carlos came out to our house and removed and put back our toilets for flooring we are replacing from Home Depot. He did a great job! He showed us issues he found once he removed the toilets, we are truly grateful for. He was very courteous, cleaned up and around our toilets and even tightened up the toilet seats that were already loose before he came. I saw all the bad reviews and felt he personally deserved a good review.
