I had BBC plumbing, owner Bob, out to replace a leaking main water valve to our house.
When I talked to him on the phone, he said it should be around $200 to $300 to replace the valve.
After he looked at what needed to be done to replace the leaking valve, I asked him if he still thought it would be around $300, he said yes, and I asked him to let me know if something came up that would increase the price- he agreed too, but never did.
When he gave me the bill, it was $484.
When I asked why it was so much, he got very defensive, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. I was very surprised by his attitude because he was the one who set the original price for the work.
Bob has been in business for 30 years, and he has very good reviews on Yelp, and because of the good reviews I trusted he would know how long the work would take, what to charge for the work, and explain overages in a profession manner. He was not honest or professional at all!!
With hind sight being 20/20, I should not of put so much trust in the Yelp reviews, and I should of gotten the bid in writing!
I will NEVER hire Bob again, and in the future I will not put so much trust in the Yelp reviews.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Called and made an appointment Bob never showed up and didn't call. I called him and he said that he could not find my property and that he was already going to another call and that he would call when done. I didn't receive any calls and I had my phone on me the entire day. Very unprofessional.

I called Bob, the owner of BBC Plumbing yesterday and he said he would be here today at 10. He arrived at 9 and went right to work. He did outstanding quick work and charged a very reasonable amount. Less then what we had paid another company to do about 5 years ago. I will call him again for sure when I have the need.

Had a slow draining sink and it also was dripping water under the counter. Called Bob once again and he said he could come the same day. Cane took care of the problem bin two different sinks. Said he was sure he had then fixed but to leave a plastic container under the one and call him if there was still a leak. No need to call him as there was no leak. Very prompt response and once again excellent work. Again a five start job.

Definitely recommend Bob as a Go-To plumbing guy. His prices were very reasonable. I didn't have ""emergency"" work needed, so I made an appointment for the following day. He's more likely to show up early rather than late. He got the work done quickly and I have no complaints.

Some of the larger plumbing companies will send out a plumber who doesn't quite seem to know what they're doing, and then they'll overcharge you for the work.

Bob fixed our under ground water line leak and installed a new PEX line, he's professional, cordial and easy to work with. I will absolutely use Bob for future projects.

After getting outrageous bids for a simple plumbing job, I took Bob's daughter's recommendation and gave him a try. He gave me a good bid and he was ready to do the work promptly. He came with all the appropriate parts and did a fine job. I highly recommend him.

Negative 1000 stars. We were referred to Bob for a commercial plumbing job in downtown Seattle/ Pioneer Square. He did a half day of work. Asked for payment before the job was completed. We typically dont do that but he insisted. We paid about $5000. Bob said he was going to his truck for some more tools. That was the last time we saw or heard from him. No messages ever returned, totally unable to contact him. Additionally, when having the plumbing job completed by the good people at Beacon Plumbing, we found that nothing was done to code and we had to rip everything out that Bob had installed. Horrible experience.

We would like our money back.

I could not be more impressed with BBC Plumbing! I discovered a puddle of water under my kitchen sink. I posted a desperate plea for a good, affordable plumber on the Neighbor's website. Within minutes someone gave me The number for BBC Plumbing. I called BBC and left a message. Bob Benson, the owner of BBC Plumbing, immediately returned my call and was ringing my doorbell within the hour. He quickly determined that I needed to replace my kitchen faucet. I had to order a new faucet. It took a few days to get the faucet. Bob said he would come do the work Saturday morning at 8 AM. He was at my house a couple of minutes before 8. It did not take him very long to do the work and now I have a new, functioning faucet. Bob is Reliable, efficient and knows what he is doing. He is also very affordable. I will use him for any future plumbing needs I may have. Bob helped turn what started as a very stressful experience into a positive one for me.

Our pipe burst at 5pm on a Thursday night. We called BBC Plumbing to get a quote for diagnosing the problem. He came out, free of charge (other companies wanted $50-$100 just to be dispatched) and came out the next morning at 9am. He was very professional and courteous. He showed up ten minutes early, diagnosed the problem within fifteen minutes and had it fixed in about an hour. VERY, VERY fair prices and just all around great service. He will remain our plumber for future plumbing needs. I can't say enough good things about the man, call Bob for your plumbing needs, he will not disappoint!

Installed a garbage disposal that we purchased. Price was more than fair - High quality of work - and very prompt with appointment and completing the work.

I will use BBC from here on out for plumbing needs.
