From requesting a quote to the finished project, BBC was professional, courteous, timely, and expeditious. Fernando and his team demo'd and rebuilt our basement stairs in the course of 2.5 days and we couldn't be happier with the finished project. Brian and Fernando's responsiveness was exceptional, which I so appreciate! All my questions were answered and their quote was reasonable and appropriate. The work was completely in a timely manner and the crew was cleanly and super sweet to my 18 month old who frequently came around to say hi. I would absolutely work with them for future work!

Brian and Fernando came by very shortly after I contacted them, and completed the work within days. Very responsive, polite and they did a terrific job repairing and replacing part of the kitchen sink cabinet under with severe water damage. I will definitely call them again. Highly recommend.

Fernando repaired some holes in the drywall in my ceilings and walls. He and one of his colleagues really went above and beyond. They taught me how to match the paint and waited while I took a paint sample to the local hardware store to match. They painted a full wall, without charging extra, to make sure the repair doesn't show. When the ceiling repair showed a metal pipe collecting condensation, they added extra insulation to the pipe so the leak wouldn't reoccur. Definitely highly recommend them for quality of work, responsiveness, and price.

BBC Constrction -Fernando's team

It is a month now that we enjoy our new kitchen- renovated by BBC construction. Our experiences with Fernando and his team were excellent!!! Our first encounter was about our bathroom. We were told by two other contractors that we need to redo the bathroom after some water damage affected the shower walls. Fernando was the third contractor and the only one who (unaware of the others) added an option to replace the damaged parts of the walls in a fraction of the cost, something that the others, claimed was not going to work. His team fixed the bathroom walls and replaced the tiles exactly as they were after replacing the damaged parts -saving us thousands. Two month later we invited him to provide a free estimate for our kitchen remodeling. His estimate was reasonable and competitive compared with 2 other companies. Additionally, he explained clearly and patiently our options, always allowing us to decide without any pressure. We chose to work with him so his company, BBC Construction was in charge of the demolition and renovation work from A to Z, while we bought the cabinets, doors, and all the other items separately. Fernando and his team were always on time, worked with their full heart in the job (for long days), were highly caring and respectful of our privacy and cleanliness of the work area and its surroundings on a daily basis, which have taken several weeks. Their work was highly professional and of excellent quality (including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and all)!! When they found some clogged pipes, they explained and showed us the problem so we could decide on our plan of action and then were highly competent in fixing them in a reasonable cost. Over these two projects, Fernando and his team gained our full trust (I'm naturally a suspicious customer..). They truly care about their customers and we sure will seek him for future renovations while we will highly recommend BBC construction to friends and neighbors.

After my previous review, the owner of BBC reached out to me directly and informed me that as a team, their company discussed the review I left and collectively decided that they're going to do whatever it takes to fix the problem--no questions asked. The next week the BBC team descended on my house and addressed all of the write-ups in one day. Without any additional cost.

I also noticed that Fernando Tamara also displayed signs that he took the negative comments I cited earlier to heart.

He actually coordinated an HVAC/Mechanical tech to come out and perform the fix, and worked with them to ensure the job was done--a departure from my previous experience with this type of arrangement.

I was informed at least 72 hours in advance of a final inspection, instead of the night before or the day of

::::Communication:::: Discussed all possible solutions to the problem before doing any work giving me an option a,b, or c and the pro's and con's for each...but more importantly he executed the agreed upon plan without any unplanned changes to design or concept without my prior approval. Also arrived two hours early for final inspection.

I'm not sure if he was just minding his P's and Q's with me because I pulled his card in person and online--but I did notice that Fernando did improve in the areas that I had addressed with him in person and in my previous review--hopefully Fernando can see the value in that advice in order to continue to have success with the customer base. I also learned how to be a better customer as well by being slower to anger--and I know I pushed their tolerance to extreme limits--but I have to ensure that my home is safe for my family at all costs.

All in all, even though it didn't have to get to this point, I'm satisfied and I'm glad and recognize that BBC Construction is a company that really does value their customers and actually WANTS to do a good job. Furthermore they can also admit to when they don't meet those expectations and work to resolve it--if the customer is willing to give them a chance. I also was glad to hear that they discuss problems internally as a team and work together to reach amicable resolutions.

Fernando Tamara of BBC Construction and my County Inspector just left my home, and I'm happy to report that we've finally passed our final inspection and our home is officially safe and sound. It was a bumpy road at times, but all that matters now is that the job is done, everything is closed out and the reviews online are still glowing. Keep in mind that this was my experience, but recognize that in the end-- this is a business that does actually care about getting the job done right.

Fantastic Experience! This was my second project with Fernando- I asked him to change an existing walk-in shower to a bathtub. I provided all of the materials and he provided the very professional and artistic labor. The end results was a new bathtub with beautifully tiled walls, including some embedded trim pieces. It only took 1.5 weeks and the tradesman were all very respectful of my house. They laid the appropriate amount of protection down and vacuumed every night before stopping for the day. They were careful to explain what they were doing during the entire process. Fernando and his team seem to be able to tackle any home remodel project and achieve superb results, I recommend them for any of your home remodel/ repair projects!

BBC Construction was a waste of my time. BBC Construction came over to my house this morning to give me an estimate for some work I need done. I told the guy I needed the kitchen redone, the entire house painted, and some repairs on my stair banister and wooden floors. The guy told me those were three separate jobs: (1) painting, (2) kitchen, and (3) wood work.

I told him I needed it all done as soon as possible, so as far as I was concerned, it was one job. But he said I had to prioritize because those were three separate jobs. I said, whatever, give me the estimate for the work. He asked which ""job"" I wanted done first. I played along with his little game, and I said the painting. He said he would email me a written estimate for the painting. I also asked for a written estimate for the kitchen and the floor/banister repairs. He gave me a partial verbal estimate. I told him again, send me a written estimate for all the work. He said he would only develop a written estimate for the next job after the first job was done. That makes absolutely no f'ing sense, UNLESS... the guy gets paid a commission PER JOB. So he wanted to break the work into three jobs.

He said he would send me the painting estimate, and I told him, don't worry, you don't need to send me anything. What a joke.

I called BBC about a window that I thought needed replacing in my bathroom. I made an appointment and Fernando arrived promptly, had a look at the window, took out the removable window sections, and discovered some caulk pieces that had been placed at the bottom that were blocking drainage. He removed these, assessed the window, and concluded that I should have the glass sections replaced, since the seals were broken, and replace the broken slider mechanism. He noted that it would be too costly a job to replace the whole window since the tiling around the window would also have to be redone and that was in good shape. He then informed that I should go to Blane Windows to get the glass replaced and have the slider mechanisms replaced, since these were specialty parts for the particular window, noting that he could do this for me but it would cost me more because he would be charging me for his time as well as what Blane would be charging. He did all this and then didn't charge me anything for the visit! It doesn't get much better than that.
