BBC has been our only contractor for the past 9 years. They're just terrific with small jobs and repairs to large renovations like my basement. It really helps that Fernando is great at assessing and planning the work with you and delivering on the final product. His team is profesional and skilled. I highly recommend BBC for almost any job. They've painted my interior, repaired pocket doors, installed a new door, gut rehab my basement and they're about to do our kitchen upgrade. Check back soon to see it!

Honest, Reliable, and Quality Work!

I am very impressed with Fernando and his team. I was in need of replacing a vanity sink in one of my bathrooms and some roofing handyman services. I had been putting off the work for months and even considered doing it myself because the estimates that I received from other contractors were ridiculously high and super-inflated. Also, the other contracting companies either seemed disinterested in smaller jobs, not trustworthy, or left me with reservations and not a good feeling overall in having them do the work.

In comes BBC Construction/Remodeling LLC. From the point of my initial meeting with the owner Fernando to the actual completion of the job, I am thoroughly satisfied with my decision in hiring this company. Fernando was very professional and his team did a great job on the work I requested. He was able to assess the work needed accurately and offered up great advice/recommendations on the work to be completed. In addition, he exuded two of the top qualities I look for in a contractor:

1) Patience -- Not once did I feel rushed with my initial appointment. He listened attentively, was not pushy and seemed eager to help. Nor, did I feel like Fernando was annoyed by my slue of questions. And, believe me there were many.....He patiently listened and answered every question.

2) Attention to Detail -- Fernando did a great job at assessing the work needed to be done and provided a fair estimate of the cost. Antonio was the crew member assigned to the work I requested. This guy was top notch. He performed an exceptional job on completing new plumbing and installing a new vanity sink in my home. He had great attention to detail and cleaned up the site afterwards. He also was the guy that handled the roofing work I requested as well and even completed a few things that were not a part of the scope of work! He could have ignored it or charged me extra, but he didn't! This is when you know you have found a quality, first rate company that takes pride in what they do.

I would recommend BBC Construction/Remodeling LLC; without reservation. They are dependable, trust worthy and do great work. The entire experience made me feel as though customer satisfaction is a high priority.

I have a few more projects around the house and I definitely will be reaching out to Fernando and his team for their services.

Fernando is the best!!!!!!!!! My upstairs shower was leaking downstairs into my dining room. I had 2 different plumbers come in and rip the shower wall open only to be unable to find the problem. They told me I needed to rip the bathtub out and install a brand new tub and piping altogether.

Fernando looked around for less than 5 minutes, found the problem, and fixed everything in a matter of hours and for dirt cheap. There's no more leak and I didn't have to shell out $2,500 for a new shower like the other plumbers suggested. Fernando really saved me here. I plan on remodeling the bathroom someday and you can bet on who I'll call for that project.

I have used Fernando for several small to medium sized jobs on both our house and a rental property. He is a wonderful guy. He is responsive and does high quality work. One time I was out of town and had a pipe start leaking at a rental property and he was able to go over and do an emergency repair which saved me a big hassle. What I particularly like is that he is very honest about what he can and can not do and deliver. He also prefers to give written estimates and takes credit cards for payment over the phone, which is a big convenience. Some caveats that I see from the other reviews are that sometimes the work isn't completed exactly when planned and there are some unplanned expenses. However, if you do any sort of renovation work, you know that this is pretty normal for the work. Contractors are always trying to balance multiple jobs and things always take longer than planned. I will say he always stays in good communication with you and you just have to be a little flexible as that is just the nature of this type of work.
Bottom Line: I would recommend him whole-heartedly.

I am impressed by their workmanship. I searched for a few other contractors but Fernando and his crew took the time to survey the area of work and listen to my needs. Fernando and his crew were tasked with rebuilding an exterior wall portion that was cut open by a previous owner to build a box-like structure in order to place an old-style large screen projection type TV inside (like those TV's that were popular in the 80's). Additionally, that box looking structure protruded about 2-1/2 feet outside the exterior wall, which make it look awkward from the outside too.
They restored the wall to its original house design, which will allow me to install my new 60-inch flat screen TV to the wall. They also cut away the box structure from the exterior wall frame, placed wall insulation, and installed an OSB sheet on the outside to fully close up that opening and seal it from the outside extreme weather conditions. That was not originally planned as they were going to leave the outside structure intact but they were very nice and understanding to perform that last outside task without raising the labor cost, which I am very grateful.
Overall, his price was reasonable-probably the best deal, their quality of work was outstanding, and they accomplished this in one day despite that he gave me an estimated time of 2-3 days! I would likely come to them again if I ever needed other remodeling work done. Highly recommended. Thanks.

Fernando and his crew saved my LIFE.

I initially selected BBC to FINISH my kitchen because my original contractors bailed on a planned weekend of work. Seriously...I interviewed 4 other contractors, who either never showed or didn't have time to take on additional business...Unbelievable...right?

Then there was BBC..my rescuers

When Fernando and his employee arrived to assess the work that was still needed, they arrived on time and exhibited a great wealth of knowledge in their profession. They even set up my new stove, during the consultation visit, so that I could at least use it for the time being (until the entire kitchen was finished) I was already impressed.

They installed my kitchen counters, sink, dish washer and painted the entire...it was perfection They even sealed off the kitchen entrances when they were working and placed cloth on my wood floor and worked..non-stop.

After these jobs were completed Fernando noticed that my new slate floor (installed by different contractors) were sinking, uneven and moving..not installed properly. He brought it to my attention (although I noticed it as well). As a result, I hired BBC to re-do my floors. They are GORGEOUS!!!, leveled..did I say GORGEOUS.

Now I'm planning on a bathroom remodel.

The BBC staff is pleasant, professional and the work is exceptional.

Fernando and his team are incredible. We had a large and complex project and they did a TOP RATE job. So many positive things to say about the huge transformation they accomplished with our house; here are just a few highlights: new electrical system works perfectly; new plumbing is so much better, and allows for laundry on our upper floor; new floor to ceiling windows are gorgeous; structural reworking of load bearing walls done beautifully - an now we have incredible views between rooms. All of this work was amazing. And even with all of these huge projects, Fernando spent many hours with me thinking about small artistic details, such as the internal window trim design. We have a mid-century modern house - a real work of art, and replacing the windows with modern windows is complex. We wanted to maintain the open feel of the original field-built windows, while using a modern product. Fernando worked out a design that maintains the original proportions, while allowing modern windows. The final result is a very complex interlocking design, which almost seems to ""float"" in the wall. We are thrilled. Thanks to Fernando and the BBC team for our new house!

Attention to detail is their best feature. Fernando came out to the house and gave me a fair estimate for the work to be done. There were some communication glitches, but overall the work performed was precise. I gave them a key to the house and the crew was very trustworthy. They sanded all the surfaces and smoothed them out and the painting trim work is very nice...all the edges are crisp. A few minor inconveniences..they switched my vent with my return and I forgot a vent that needed painting. Also, the first two days were great, but then the crew dwindled down, so the job took longer than I expected, but I should have asked as well. In the end, Fernando came by to do a final walk through and inspection with his crew and touch up any last areas. Overall, I was very happy with the attention to detail and the politeness of his crew.

Really great job. They replaced our front and back doors. The price was reasonable and consistent with the quote received. This team, Fernando, Antonio, Raul, they took pride in their work; took pictures when done. Great attention to detail. Were able to find molding to match the vintage type around an adjacent window to preserve the style.

And all this despite Home Depot completely messing up on the inventory, and sending them to 3 locations. I felt for sure they would raise the price because of Home Depot's wild goose chase, and would not have objected really, but the final price only added the tiny cost of a little more molding from the quote (which I had approved during the installation after I saw what the options were to keep things looking symmetrical) .

Very impressed with Fernando and his crew. This is the second project we called Fernando on, and we will definitely be calling him back for more work. His team had great attention to detail on the trim and tile work they did at our house. Our next projects will be crown moulding and a stone accent wall. Fernando and his crew are very clean, professional and punctual. We are very pleased.
