I've been using Bayside for jobs big and small. They are knowledgeable, reliable and fair. My water heater went right before Thanksgiving and they were able to install a new one the next day! I actually have the email string and can post it if you like. The truth is we have a nonfunctioning heat pump system less than one year after your husband Francois installed our heating system and for which we paid $21,600. Other fact is when he did not call me back and I threatened to complain, he called with the only intent being to launch a profanity at me - when he instead could have spoken to me for 2 minutes and reassured me that your company would repair the non-functioning system on the following Monday. WE HAVE NO HEAT. I suggest anger management exercises and lessons in humility. If threatening to complain is bullying (and again I can post the text string if you like) then that would make me a bully - for threatening to complain about substandard work and refusal to fix substandard work.
My wife called you at 2:20 pm on Saturday and I sent a followup text to your the ""Emergency Line"" mentioned in your automated message 5 minutes later. A full 2 hours later we received a not very informative text from someone at your emergency number. I was justifiably upset about the lack of courtesy and helpfulness when we had NO HEAT in subfreezing temperatures when I spent over $21,000 with your company only several months earlier - so yes at that point I replied that I would be complaining on a public forum such as this unless I received a call. Most customers in my position would have done the same. I can attach a photo of the text string if you like and can also attach a photo of the email string in which Francois told me not to worry about maintaining my propane connection as we applied for a Mass Save Rebate (which specified that our home must be heated only by heat pump to qualify for a rebate).
Interesting that the only other reviews are two other 1 star reviews (from New England - so people who actually used your services) and one repeated 5 star review from an obvious friend in California who added another 5 star review 3 days after I left mine to bring up the average.
If you do business, you should treat your customers well, especially when they pay you a substantial amount of money for a product or a service. You should avoid turning the argument around to blame the customer unless the customer is truly the one who is wrong. You should also absolutely advise your husband to avoid calling customers only to vent his anger by swearing at them.
We do not want your services but instead will have a company with a more experienced technician hopefully with basic customer service skills come to fix our system. And I have already filed a complaint with the state as I had promised.

Can't recommend. GREAT experience replacing my AC unit several years ago. Seemed like a fair price and they got to it right away. Fast forward several years and when the AC Capacitor failed, took them more than a week to get to us (and it was hot...but the wait wasn't the problem). For the warranty they completely left us hanging, pointed to the manufacturer and the manufacturer said the dealer was supposed to handle. When I contacted the dealer back they were shockingly rude and hostile over the notion of having to process a warranty claim. It was almost as if I was speaking to an entirely different company that installed it in the first place. I'd keep looking... good service in the sale isn't as important as good service after the sale, which they don't seem interested in providing. Granted, the item in question was less than $100, but the priciple was it should have been covered and they weren't willing to process the claim. We paid the bill, but learned a valuable lesson. We remain open to a reasonable resolution, but have low expectations given my last interaction which is what this one star reflects.

What terrible customer service service. Bayside was hired to coordinate, and turn on my water after the winter season. First of all, they didn't show up as scheduled and I had to coordinate with the Water Dept which they said they would do.

Apparently they forgot to connect back my ice makers. Cindy the receptionist was very defensive and didn't actually tell me he forgot, because she he didn't know he forgot. In any event it shouldn't take two weeks for an appointment for something they forgot.

The Plumber Paul was very cordial and did good work. However the Owner, Mary, and some other guy who grabbed the phone, were very rude after their mistake. They basically refused to make good on thier services. I do not recommend this bussiness. Thank you.
