Taryn A.If I could give zero stars, I would! Baymont On Call was one of the WORST experiences I've ever had. I called them to have a phone jack put in at my house in my bedroom. I never received a confirmation call and the technician showed up at the end of the scheduled time. I show him where I want a phone jack put in. He prances around my house for a good half hour doing God knows what. He keeps coming to me saying he needs to do some kind of wiring to get a phone jack upstairs. It's like OK DO IT then for God's sake. It was OBVIOUS this guy just didn't want to do it. At least that was the vibe I got from him. I had recently set up a phone in my family room. I mentioned moving the modem upstairs to hook up the phone since he STILL had not even attempted to start installing the phone jack. He's like oh that's a good idea! Ok? Well guess what this is my idea so I'm still not paying you. This was probably about 45 minutes later. Then, he sits down and proceeds to start reading my phone manual. He casually flips through it like he has all the time in the world. Finally, after about an hour and a half, he STILL had not even STARTED the phone jack. He's too busy reading my phone manual which by the way, has NOTHING to do with a phone jack. He should not have even been touching my private phone or the manual. Finally, I say to him that I have to go to work. I knew he didn't have any intention on installing my phone jack. He just wanted to hang out and look at my phone manual all day long. I didn't have all day. He had not even STARTED the phone jack. Then he has the NERVE to hand me a $200 bill which I absolutely refused to pay him a dime. He says to me he could do it, I just didn't give him enough time to figure it out. Figure it out? Shouldn't he already know exactly what he is doing? He did absolutely nothing but prance around my house and read my phone manual. Better yet, he sits in my driveway for a half hour just to be a smart ass after I had him leave. He rings my doorbell constantly. He does NOT leave my house until I call the company and complain. This company is just unbelievable. I just cannot even believe them. Please, save your time and don't even bother calling them!
Julie C.This company came out to replace a pipe running to our home from to the street due to a water leak. The pipe was replaced and the soil that we paid extra for to backfill was spread out over a large portion of our intact lawn killing the grass we had there, and was not put in a large pit (2'x3') that they dug where the pipe met the house. They replaced all the decorative rocks that had been there, on top of the pit as if we wouldn't notice.
I have called two times now to complain, once right after the work was completed, and once about three months later and was told very nicely that they hadn't forgotten about us and would come out to fix it. That was another two months ago. Another two faced company that takes your money and doesn't follow through.
Beth M.This is a rip off. They tell you up front that it will cost $40 for the visit. When they get there, they tell you it will cost $165 for the diagnostics. Any repairs will be on top of that. When I heard that, I told the guy to leave. The last electrician I used charged me $85 for the visit and the repair. Do yourself a favor and find someone who charges by the hour.
