I was helping a freind with her plumbing problem, so i needed to go to bay state plumbing. Because i don't know the names of some plumbing part, i was traying to explain it to the employee at the front desk.
He help me with everything i needed and telling me the names and making sure that i had everything i need to solve the problem. Even a plumber that was there to buy step in to help me with all i needed.
To all employees at bay state plumbing thanks for going an extra mile to help those who are not professional in the plumbing industry.

Contrary to the experience above. I've gone into bay state many times over the last 5 years and had nothing but great service and expertise regarding the project I was working on. From installing a tankless hot water heater, to limping a 50 year old furnace through the tail end of winter these guys have always been there to help. If they didn't have full assemblies of things available they would help me piece together something to get the result needed. Having some knowledge on plumbing I can articulate exactly what it is I am doing, and describe my current situation to a ""tee"" (pun intended). You will find that if you educate yourself about the project you are working on, and don't ask for ""the brass thing that connects to the spinny thing under the sink"" they will be able to help you much quicker.

I needed to find parts to connect a modern faucet to the brass supply lines in my older home. I brought in the faucet lines and a short length of the brass pipe. The guy at the counter showed zero interest in helping. He first said I needed to ""call American Standard,"" as if they could solve this over the phone. I pointed out that I came to them for plumbing supplies since they were a plumbing supply shop. He claimed ""we don't carry those parts,"" and walked off. He never bothered to even glance at my parts, and made it very clear that helping a homeowner was no longer a concern of his company. I went to the competitor across the street, where they figured out what I needed and had my problem sorted in no time. If you're not a pro with a line of credit, Bay State Plumbing doesn't want to hear from you.
