Great service. Very honest team. They are available early morning and late time for service. Great fees and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Luis answered the phone right away and we made an appointment for the next day. He showed up right on time and took less than an hour to replace the vanity faucet. Good work and good cleanup.

This company though located in Petaluma gave me great service in San Francisco.
They came out quickly when plumbing was causing water to back up into tub and toilets on third floor rental flat. They solved that issue and showed me where very old plumbing with insufficient slope on the waste pipes was at least part of the problem.
They replaced the old lines including the runs from toilets and tub in upper unit for a good price,
Communication was great and they worked with me to delay some of the work when tenant became Covid positive.
I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again.

Responded promptly to a Yelp request; arrived the next day 10 minutes EARLY (when has that happened before??); quickly resolved the problem and gave me a senior discount on top of that. Perfection!

Bay Side Plumbing/Luis & Co. completely overhauled all the pluming, drainage, gas lines in my home including, the main waterline (from the street), relocated the main water shut off valve, installed a new water heater, installed a new pressure valve, installed new exterior hose bibbs, and gas shutoff valves. I just handed the keys over (the house is in South San Francisco and I live in Los Angeles) to Luis and let him take care of the work which was completed over the period of 1 month. Luis kept me updated with the work via video chat, text photos, and frequent phone calls. I highly recommend Bay Side Plumbing as they performed excellent work and beat all the quotes I received from 6 different Bay Area/Peninsula plumbing companies.

Accommodating, professional, prompt service. Answered all my questions and did everything to the nth degree. I would definitely reccomend and use again. Luis even gave me tips on how to do smaller stuff myself to save money. A+

Luis was thorough and more than fair. He ended up spending about a hour longer than he'd estimated on our job, which has non-standard plumbing. He could have easily done a quick clean out & called it a day, but he tried a bunch of different solutions to solve the problem and held to the quote he gave us. Would definitely use him again (and based on our plumbing set up, there's a good chance I'll have to).

I had a super frustrating experience with Luis. I was out of town but needed a plumbing repair at my rental property. He did what a lot of plumbers do. They quote you something decent and then they come to the property and try to up charge you. The tenant had a toilet that was leaking from the bottom. The flange needed to be replaced. He quotes me around $1200 for a job that my new plumber for the Richmond area got done for around $700. He did schedule the appointment conveniently and then show up on time. I will give him these things but the rest of the experience was a total headache. He told me I would likely need a new shut off valve, water supply line, new toilet, & that he would need to cut into the pipe (chip away) and melt lead onto the new flange to connect it. Thank God I have a lot of plumbing experience myself which I never tell people up front so I can see if they are going to try to rip me off. There was nothing he didn't say may need replacing depending on what he finds. Super frustrating to have my tenants inconvenienced. I okay'd just the water valve replacement. Sent him a picture of my credit card. He texted me that my tenants said that I don't pay the contractors that help me. I have the nicest tenants and I know they would never say this about me. They are personal friends. Why is he even have these unprofessional conversations with my tenants. Something as small as this with disrespectful tenants could turn into a giant headache. Besides this was after I sent him a picture of my credit card so it makes no sense. Also my tenant heard him saying that everything needed replacing. One of my pet peeves is when contractors talk about the repair with the tenant. After I disagreed with him on the phone that everything needs replacing but approved the water valve change he told the tenant that he will be back on Friday. Did not do the work I just ok'd. He then left without telling me he wasn't going to do any work today. He stopped communicating with me completely. I had to step out of a work meeting to call him multiple times only for him to not answer. I only heard from him once I put up on Yelp, ""Luis I'm waiting for your call back"". Then he texts me a few days later and asked me to remove my Yelp comment. He also told me he doesn't like when people tell him how to do his job. The jig was up. I had caught him in an overbid. To confirm all the things I already knew Preferred Plumbing came out and did a fantastic job. I was correct the toilet didn't need to be replaced. Also an off set toilet flange was installed with holes drilled and cement screws put into the floor. There was no need for a crazy cutting into the pipe and melting lead to connect a new flange. I'd be careful with this guy. He clearly tried to rip me off for a big ticket price and he has horrible interactions with tenants. He ended up being a giant headache for me and a giant waste of my time. My time is what I value most so I left this entire interaction with a lot of frustration to the point where I'm willing to write this long review. Don't text me anymore Luis. I'm not removing this review. This is exactly how everything happened. Double ch

Professional, friendly and all-around great experience.
We had a toilet water-supply valve that needed replacing that went to a copper supply line. It wasn't an emergency by any means, but I was super impressed that they were able to schedule us in the very same day.
We also very much appreciated that they were able to give a quote for the price of the repair/replacement, so that we knew, in advance, about how much it would cost.
Friendly, took all Covid shelter-in-place precautions to heart, and did a great job. When/if we need more plumbing work done again will likely start with Bay Side.

Great experience with Luis. He arrived on time and completed the work very quickly. His work is high quality. Will definitely use his services next time I have a problem. Thanks, Luis!
