I reached out to have my boiler and heater serviced. The lead plumber returned my call within an hour and scheduled work for the following day. The appointment ended up being a bit later in the day than originally scheduled but the work was completed quickly. Dennis was very responsive and let me know he was running late.

Best plumber in Bay Ridge. Dennis is extremely knowledgeable and honest! His pricing is very reasonable for the quality work he does. BEWARE, bait and switch pricing, aggressive individual. We were quoted a price on phone, then the price doubled 1 day before install for no reason. Asked why -- answer was ""take it or leave it"". This delayed us for a month, found decent plumber elsewhere who did it for half their original price. Do yourself a favor and search a bit. There are decent plumbers left in Brooklyn.

Visiting on 61st near the brooklyn army terminal and water stopped coming out of the kitchen faucet entirely. Previously, the flow of water had reduced at times, but it had never previously stopped. We called a different plumber at around noon, but it didn't end up being possible for that group to send someone over. I saw a positive review on a different yelp page (where there's some phone number / contact info confusion) and called at about 3:45 on a Friday afternoon. Dennis Behan/Bay Ridge Plumbing & Heating very kindly found a way to make us the last job of the day. Dennis came himself within about 30 minutes of the call; quickly identified and fixed the problem; and charged a reasonable rate -- particularly given the impromptu Friday afternoon call. Other family is in town visiting as well, so it was very much appreciated.
