Very nice customer service call, I spoke with them several times and every time is was professional and pleasant. Thanks for the help.
My furnace was in terrible shape with the smell of gas filling the garage and living far away I rolled the dice with Bay Point and was impressed with their technical analysis of the furnace and offering up of a fix. We discussed the pro's and cons of the fix that would save the old furnace. Bay Point did not push for the sale but it became obvious that the real solution was a new furnace. The price seemed reasonable and I'm passing the new furnace and home on to a new first time home buyer. Good karma for all!
Can I give negative stars? Bay Point installed 10k boiler/water heater. Barry, who no longer works for the company, was very professional. He did all of the installation. Our pump went out within one year. He fixed it, he said bad part? Now two years later everything is shot. We had Gary's Plumbing, recommended, come out and fix everything. They said all of the parts were Home Depot grade. The worse part about Bay Point is the service! The woman that answers the phone , owner?, is so rude! Do not hire them at all!!! Bad attitude, bad parts!
Bay Point, Inc. was contracted by the seller of our current home to asses and repair a leaking T&P valve, but found no issues with the unit or any other supplementary items that are currently installed.
Two additional opinions yielded the necessity to replace the thermal expansion unit, replace the tripped T&P relief valve, and install another required T&P relief valve.
It is our belief that Bay Point, Inc was negligent, and upon calling them for additional service they were immediate in pointing out it would cost us $59 for the site visit, regardless of the outcome. Site visit fees are normal, but their practice and price definitely do not instill confidence.
Additionally, their customer service was appalling.
We will not contract Bay Point for any additional services. Bay Points competition is superior.
