I got in touch with John immediately when I saw signs of blockage in my sewage pipe. He diagnosed my issue over the phone and immediately knew what needed to be done. He arrived at the agreed time and serviced my sewage pipe with a hydrojet clearing the blockage of tree roots and other debris. Post service, John gave me clear advice on how to keep the pipe clear of blockage and also how to properly clean the mess made from the drainage backing up. A previous company attempted to clear a sewer main clog that seemed fixed when they left, but the problem came back after 2 days. That's where John comes in. He answered on my initial call at around 8 AM and we arranged for an inspection at 11 AM. John was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He explained the options and pricing and went to work. Initially troubleshooting some shoddy work done by the previous company (they had also replaced the sewer pipe from my garage door to the city sewer a few months ago) when he noticed water wasn't flowing as it should through the new sewer main trap under the sidewalk. He suspected debris left behind from the construction, so he jetted it. Turns out there's also a flat spot in the pipe that is about 4 feet out from the garage before the trap. From the sidewalk access he sent the camera back under the house towards the bathroom at the back of the house to look for the clog. He found it, showed it to me on video and located it under the lower level living space. He sent the jet down and cleared the clog. Then we tested by running and flushing as many faucets as we could and he showed me on camera that the water was flowing smoothly. Job well done. He's an old school guy that gets things done and done right.

John and his son Sean are honest, easy to work with, competent, and extremely knowledgeable about sewer systems. They evaluated a problematic main sewer line that another plumber told me would be a $60k replacement project and determined they could solve my problem much less expensively and equally effectively by creating a new cleanout and power jetting the line. Instead of a major replacement, I will have them re-jet the line every 12-18 months. I would highly recommend them for any external sewer project.
