Really disappointed. The new air condition and heating system hasn't cooled in the summer or heated in the winter for a complete season since it was installed in 2008. And I've been charged annual repairs of over 1,000 each year to repair it and it still doesn't work. No, I don't want a new $800 thermostat this year to make it work. I'll find another company to work with.

The only place I will call for my heating needs in the future. Our furnace went out shortly before Christmas. I called another place, they came and told me I needed a replacement. They never called me back with a quote. After a freezing holiday, I called another place. They gave me an astronomical quote. I wanted another opinion, so I called Bay Area Plumbing. They came within a couple hours when everyone else said they couldn't make it, they gave me a quote for 1/2 the cost of the other one I got and are replacing the motor instead for far less. The attention, time and detail Richard spent was well worth the cost of a service visit - which was the most reasonable one I was charged. My heat is on, I am warm and am not going broke in the process. I am so grateful to this company and Richard I can't even say how much. Thank you!!!

We used Bay Area Plumbing & Heating when the water heater for our radiant heating went out and were really pleased with their service. We liked them so much that we called them again when our regular water heater went out a couple months later. (It was a bad winter for our Eichler.) The sales rep who came out found out that our water heater was covered by warranty, which was not what I was expecting. In fact the paper work we had said that we only had a 5 year warranty, but he had the BAPH office run our serial number, and they verified through Rheem that we had a week or so left on a 6 year warranty. I should also point out that they aren't official Rheem distributors or service providers so this really was much better service than most places provide these days. The mechanic, much like the guy who came out to do our first water heater, was professional, tidy and expedient.
They also brought by space heaters for the days our radiant heating was out of service, saving me time and money. Nice touch!
