Great experience with Bay Area Plumbing. We had a broken garbage disposal and we were trying to get it fixed on a Sunday. Boris responded within 15 minutes to my request for a quote, was able to arrive at my apartment in less than an hour and had the issue fixed in 15 minutes. No discount on the service fee for the quick fix, but ultimately, was worth it for the convenience and professionalism. We're very satisfied.

At 10:45pm on New Year's Eve, we found out that our water heater was broken. Boris responded within 15 minutes of me contacting the company and he was incredibly accommodating to work with my availability on New Year's Day.

From initial contact through the installation, he was communicative, clear, friendly and provided quality service and work for installing a brand new water within a reasonable amount of time....all on a holiday.

After calling several plumbers, and doing my research on the issue and getting several quotes, I contacted Boris from Bay Area Plumbing. Not only was he extremely professional, he was quick to diagnose the real issue, and gave me the best quote. He really blows the competition out of the water.

Boris answered his phone , gave a reasonable time estimate for an hour or so later the same day but as able to arrive earlier . He answered my questions about replacing a part that was leaking in my garage and a clogged bathroom sink with non traditional pipes under the sink as I wish to learn how to do these things myself in the future. He was quick and efficient, solved the problems, pretty much a perfect experience.

I unfortunately had to call Boris twice in one month for separate issues.

The first time my pilot light went out for my water heater at around 7:30PM on a Saturday night. I needed the hot water back ASAP because I had guests staying over. I called a few places, nobody answered (including the ones claiming to be open '24-hour').

I called Boris and he came and fixed my water heater -- all within 1 hour. It was possibly the most seamless process ever.

The second time I had a kitchen sink clog, which he also handled in a super professional and speedy manner. I left a voice mail to schedule him coming out and got a call back within 10 minutes.

He's super helpful, works quickly, and charges a fair price. Highly recommended!

Called Bay Area Plumbing this afternoon to sort out a clogged kitchen sink. Boris arrived 15 minutes after I arrived home, right on time.

Boris was great, working the whole time while fielding my many questions. He worked for over an hour with a drain snake attempting to dislodge the clog, making multiple attempts. Unfortunately, the clog was further down the pipes than anticipated.

He explained the issue to me and acknowledged the limitation of his equipment (their company's larger snake was out for repairs) and didn't even charge me for the work he had completed.

It was very refreshing to see such honesty from a plumbing company especially after seeing some reviews of other companies here on Yelp.

Please don't hesitate to give this company a call, ask a lot of questions and be descriptive about your problem.
