Berkeley Home Repair was a breeze to work with. They helped me out with painting the interior of my condo after my departing tenant left a ""patchwork"" of touch-up paint on nearly all the walls. The quote was extremely fast and we worked out all the details in one evening over text and email. Damon was able to fit me in within a week due to weather constraints with another customer, which was extra awesome because I wanted to get a new rental listing up ASAP. The painting was finished in a timely manner, the invoice was sent along promptly, and Damon was even so kind as to send someone back to clean up some rogue paint drops that were left on the carpet. I received way more rental applicants than I anticipated and I'm pretty sure it was due in part to the wonderful paint job.

Later, when my new tenant reported a broken light switch, I shot Damon a text and he responded right away. The communication was not as streamlined for the light switch repair and it took a while to get a day/time pinned down, as well as the invoice afterwards. But, the fix was still made within a week without any technical complications, so both my tenant and I were satisfied.

I plan on turning to Berkeley Home Repair the next time I need a condo repair. They've truly helped decrease the stress involved in being a landlord. Thank you Damon and team.

Damon and his team are great! I had water damage in my rental and needed various contractors to complete the job as I was working with my insurance company. I can't say enough about the great experience I had with Berkeley Home Repair. First of all, their prices. I originally called them about paint that was flaking off at the bottom of my chimney, in a bedroom. Brian correctly diagnosed the problem as cracks around the roof flashing and at various points on the chimney. The quote they gave to fix the repairs, was, in the words of my real estate agent, ""a steal"", so I hired them to fix it. Brian took care of the problem promptly and I haven't had a problem since. I would hire them again in a hot second for any other contracting work around my home.

I contacted Berkeley Home Repair based on the Yelp reviews and I couldn't be happier! From the time I called and spoke with Damon to inquire about an estimate through the installation of the new toilets has been a great experience. I had two toilets installed and the price was very reasonable. Brian arrived exactly on time and even gave me time to paint the wall that I couldn't get to when the old toilet was in the way. Brian was very friendly and explained what he was doing and asked important questions to make sure that the toilets were installed to my liking. I will be contacting Berkeley Home Repair again for future household repairs/remodeling needs.

Although we have hired other contractors in the past, few were as determined as Damon and his entire crew were to make certain we were totally pleased with the finished job. This contractor really is as good as it gets. Brian is knowledgeable in construction as well as HVAC, and goes far and beyond to make things work. Damon and Trish do a great job, together, and their estimates are fair and clear. Even when the job takes longer than expected or is more complicated, they do not increase the price.
