I cannot say enough nice things about Damon and the team! We had some minor leaking during the heavy rains, and they quickly and thoroughly repaired our windows and a crack in our stucco. I'm bummed to write this update because I really like Damon and for the most part we had a great experience. However, when his crew was working on our kitchen they installed a water spout behind our fridge and it never worked properly. It always had flow problems and over time there was only a trickle that came out. They came out one time to fix the problem and the water flow improved a little for a couple days but went right back to not working. I called several times and they said they would come look again but they never scheduled anything and after a while my texts and calls weren't even answered. This was probably a year ago and finally I decided to just hire a plumber to fix the problem. He said that technically it was installed correctly but they used a 1/4"" waterline instead of a larger one (I believe they replaced with 1/2"") and the type of junction they used are notorious for clogging which caused the problem. I am only taking away one star because #1 our experience was still by and large positive, #2 plumbing is not their specialty and they didn't do anything wrong, just didn't do it the way a plumber would recommend, and #3 I would still absolutely recommend them and would still use them in the future. I am just disappointed that this went on for so long and we had to spend $700+ to fix the problem.

Damon's team was kind and efficient. They were honest and communicative the entire time and did a great job problem solving during a relatively tricky, and extensive, tub and shower redo. They're a wonderfully personable team and we'd definitely hire them to help us with future projects!

Damon and Carlos came to the rescue when we recently needed to update the plumbing in our laundry area. Damon provided a clear, itemized quote and slotted us in as soon as possible. Thankfully, they were slated to take care of the plumbing and electrical issues in our laundry room because we also discovered major leaking under our sink. Turns out, the team that ""refreshed"" our house before we purchased it did a superficial job that could've caused a lot more damage. Carlos fixed the issues in both areas quickly and professionally.

I highly recommend Damon and his team as he's transparent, fair, and thorough. He may not be the least expensive option but you get what you pay for. We'll definitely be using him and his team again!

A tree branch fell on our electrical service lines and took out the power. We needed the power restored urgently! I called and they were able to send someone to start the repairs in an hour! AMAZING!

They sorted out the permit and dealing with the county inspection as well. The county were slow, but these guys were on top of chasing them.

Most other places didn't have time to come straight away, or asked for absurdly high rates. These guys charged a fair price, and most importantly got us our power back as quickly as possible.

We wanted to go from a gas stove to a Electric stove, Damon responded with enthusiasm. Setting up the time for the Electrician to come and asses the job was easy and all online. Pricing was perfect.
When Pedro arrived (Pedro called to confirm I was home and ready) we went over everything that was going to happen. It was fast and easy. Communication was solid from the get go for both Damon and Pedro. When it comes to clean work, Pedro was a total pro. The whole job went exactly as planned. I totally will be rehiring again for future.

We had a great experience with Damon, Carlos, and the whole team at Berkeley Home Repair. We wanted to reclaim a small corner of a kitchen where an old water heater, long since removed, once stood. Carlos & his team removed a small partial wall, patched up the drywall, removed some old exposed piping, and reflooring the area, all in about four hours. The work was completed to our pre-agreed specifications and at a fair rate.

Communication from Damon before & after the job was prompt & clear, and Carlos & his team were friendly & helpful throughout the work day. We appreciated that they covered the floors & furniture in adjacent rooms (not just the kitchen) with plastic sheeting before work began, ensuring barely any dust was left behind after the work was complete.

I rarely leave Yelp reviews, but had to submit one for Damon & his team at Berkeley Home Repair. We'll definitely be using them for future home repairs and I recommend them without reservation.

Our bath tub sprung a leak that rained through the ceiling in the floor below, leaving a giant hole. I reached out to a number of contractors for estimates for the work, but this company stood out in both the reasonableness of their estimate and the ease of working with them. Damon was responsive and got a crew over to my house a few days later. The crew was very professional and courteous, and did great work. Damon will be my first call for any future construction needs.
