Unfortunately i did not work with these guys cos my building owner decided he wanted me to use his electrician-after i had done all the research. But i will say out of ten companies i contacted these guys were the only ones who gave me a reasonable price and actually responded really quickly. He was informative, knew what he was talking about and i was planning on hiring them if not intercepted by the building owner

I can only recommend that you are in safe hands for a discussion and estimate due to the fact that i wa unable to use for their work. I have a feeling they would've done a great job.

Berkeley Home Repair did an absolutely fantastic job cleaning up & repairing the dangerous mess of old wiring in our nearly 100 year old home (there was some knob and tube stuff in the basement that had probably been down there since the house was originally built!) as well as installing some new electrical in our garage. Damon, Roberto & Trish truly went above and beyond for us and even voluntarily took care of some other things for us which we didn't know needed fixing. The work was thorough, organized and cleanly done, communication was exceptional, everyone was professional and super friendly.

It's apparent that these really folks understand that the smart way to build a local business is to create strong, positive relationships with their customers. They are honest, transparent, genuine, and stand by their work. Highly, highly recommended!

So far, I have had the need for Berkeley Home Repair, on two occasions. I needed outdoor light fixtures installed and an electrical line removed from the floor where an island used to be situated. The island was moved and the people that moved it, could not move/deactivate the electrical line. Berkeley Home Repair (BHR, which I found on Yelp) sent over Daniel, the electrician. He is an absolute delight. He deactivated the floor line and put it back under the flooring. He made sure the outdoor lights were fitted on the stucco and was aligned correctly. He made sure the light fixtures worked before leaving. My second experience with BHR, (Damon and Trish) involved them coming over and installing my new range hood in the kitchen. They did an excellent job with fitting it and even polished the stainless steel range hood before they left. Damon and Trish are both delightful!
Berkeley Home Repair is an excellent business with professional and experienced people. I will recommend them with no hesitation and will continue to use them in the future.

OMG - best service I've ever had from a business. Damon was fun to work with, and he sent Daniel over to repair the electrical outlet that serves my koi pond same-day. Daniel was great - friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Everything you could hope for. He also kept Damon updated on his progress, so that everyone was on the same page. Fish are now alive and healthy. We need a bathroom remodel - I've asked if we could get a quote. I definitely will work with them again.
