Not sure about this service provider yet; they were scheduled and I tried to communicate with the crew and didn't show; I tried again today and busy signal, an hour after they were scheduled; the office hasn't called to confirm but the Bldg. my client is in recommended them-

Its funny as I read other reviews, my experience is exactly like Lindsays in 2016; identical. No change.

Provided an inaccurate estimate and then over-charged me. Very rude when I followed up to discuss the charge being more than I was quoted. Nice owner but not friendly business practices and would not use them again. Please be sure to get a quote in writing before you begin work with this company or you may be over charged as I was.

The guys are friendly, their business is not.
I have waited over a month for heat - the first time, they never showed, I never got a phone call. We rescheduled. The second time, I called twice after waiting 2 hours and they said they were working on emergencies, of which I waited for. They then said I needed to reschedule for ""next week"" -- I waited weeks.

We experienced excellent service overall.
The office was responsive and a plumber was able to stop by within a reasonable call time.
We had 2 easy fixes but one more important unknown leak going down a pipe in a wall to the base of the house. Augie was the plumber who worked with us and gave me an estimate.
He quickly fixed the 2 items and then did his search with minimal damage to the interior walls.
Through some trial and error he found the leak and fixed it in short time. He was honest, worked with me to lessen any wall damage and the bill was exactly on with the estimate.

This is a great plumbing company and we have used them to take care of our two 100 year old houses for many years. Augie and his guys are friendly, pleasant, and get to you as quickly as they are able. I have no problem leaving the house open so they can get in to handle things if I can't wait for them. I could not recommend Bay and Shore more highly. I don't understand the negative review on this site. I have had to call Augie a couple of times and he has responded immediately to address my plumbing problems.

I have found his customer service excellent and his prices reasonable. However it is his prompt service that I appreciate the most. Because he is on the island he is able to get to my house right away. Today my Water Heater broke and needed to be replaced. He was at my house in 15 minutes and had a replacement heater in his inventory on the island. 2 hours later the job was complete.

Bay and Shore is a wonderful plumbing company. Yvonne is always helpful and will honestly tell you if they can't make it out the same day. Oggi does great work and leaves the place just like he found it not a spec of dirt more. They will always be the first company to call on my list!

They have the worst customer service! When asking for an approximate quote over the phone, the receptionist said ""I am not a plumber and I cannot help you, I have other customers on the phone. Good-bye!"" ummm, excuse me but your job requires that you know basic information regarding the services your company offers. I refuse to give them a star, but it looks like that is not an option, so consider my 1 star -10, as in don't even bother.
