The new pipes have not burst, that's a plus. The worst part about this business is the Assistant named Kelly. When I asked her what areas needed to be cleared, she replied ""anywhere there's water."" She writes exclamation points at the end of her sentences. After dealing with her incompetence, I asked, ""how do you stay in business?"" She laughed. Ask yourself this question before calling.

I've been working with this company since 2014, starting with a polybutylene re-piping job. As a designer, I've completed a number of remodeling projects, which they have always, satisfactorily, undertaken whether small or complex. The main reason I continue to work with them is that multiple building inspectors have commented on the 'professional' and 'above-and-beyond' work. Permit inspections ALWAYS go through swimmingly!
Besides, I love supporting a local small business with a woman plumber on staff!!

I hired this company to repipe my house due to old polybutylene pipes. They estimated 3 days but took 2. Their price was lower than most other plumbing companies I had talked to, the reason I went with them over a lower priced plumber was that they replace drywall, whereas the others do not.

Battlefield does everything via phone and email. So they gave me an estimate after a phone interview and gave me a discount on the price, since I had found them on Angie's List.

Once I hired them, the master plumber, Neri, arrived at the agreed time and checked out the situation then got to work even before the rest of the team arrived. They completed the repipe that first day and the second day came back and installed the drywall.

I paid 1/3 before they started and 2/3 after they were done. So far I am very pleased with the repipe, there's been no leaks or issues.

The only gripes I have with this experieince are 1. When Neri saw my dog he wanted me to keep her locked in a room because they ""aren't pet sitters"". That was kind of rude. 2. no one from the company came after the job to ensure I was satisfied or show me what they did or where they put the shut off valves (although it's fairly obvious where they are). Good customer service would dictate someone being there on completion of the job. and 3. while they take credit cards, they charge a 3% fee to use it so didn't make sense for me to put this on my 2% cashback card. This is not enough for me not to recommend them tho. I actually gave their info to a neighbor who also wants to repipe his house.

Battlefield Plumbing is unprofessional and unethical in how they conduct their business. They added to the charge without our consent or agreement of the work and then charge our debit card without our authorization. It's not little money, it's over $2,000. They are a criminal. Do not use them.

They came out and did what they were supposed to do...problem is that I found many errors with their workmanship. My pipes now shudder at random times throughout the day and night. The outside spigot at the back of my home didn't work, the hot water at the washing machine never passed water. My toilets flushed at random times and the water to my sink has a very low flow. I ended up hiring a contractor to fix the mess he left behind. I will never use these guys again and the owner Neri never responded until a few days later after leaving him messages... Very poor customer service and shoddy workmanship...never again...

Worst experience ever. New pipes are leaking, can't reach by phone. Painters were careless, messy and have paint all over everything. Ran out of here and can't be reached. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Stay away.

I was unhappy with the professionalism, work and conduct of this company. I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. The owner, Neri Serrano, is great when trying to get your work and I found unhelpful and abussive afterwards. They failed to complete work to my satisfaction, they actually broke my water main and left the job site a mess. Neri then called everyone else a liar. He failed to respond to the Better Business Bureau and the complaint process took months. I do not recommend his company for any work you need done. There are many others and better ones out there.

I was basically forced to use Battlefield Plumbing by my HOA to replace polybutylene pipes. The quoted two days to complete the work but took three. The most significant issue though was that after they finished the work there was a leak serious enough to drip into the apartment below, the dishwasher was not working and the garbage disposal was not working. I called and asked them to come back and fix these issues and they claimed they had nothing to do with these issues. Neri the owner and plumber even tried to call me a liar, claiming that these problems were there prior to him arriving. I don't think my downstairs neighbor would have lived with a dripping ceiling in his kitchen. He came back and fixed the leak but the two appliances remain unoperable. He still claims they had nothing to do with them not working. What a huge coincidence!!!! I will not pay them until the fix these issues and will be posting as many reviews out there as I can until they retstore my home to the way it was before they did their crappy work. I DO NOT recommend them for anything.

I recently bought a new house which had Polybutile pipes . I got them replaced from Battlefield Plumbing. They did a good job of changing the pipes. I took a week off from my work to get the work done. They would only work for 4-5 hours a day. I think, They could have finished the job in 2 days. Workers were very nice but they cut my Laundry water supply pipe as well. which took another 3 days to be fixed.
The Worst experience I had was with their Manager Kelley Gemmel. I don't think she knows what she is doing. She failed to send me the invoice , However, She had it all ready to be sent to Collections. So People, If you decide to get work done from these people, Make sure you call them to get your Invoice, Otherwise because of her stupidity, you may Ruin your credit score. Read your contract carefully before signing it. Also, They don't send you the warranty until you pay them. So Don't assume, you warranty is in your contract. The invoice she sent was wrong. Big Mess when it came to money.
