Our water heater exploded! In a timely fashion Joe from Battavio plumbing and heating was at our house! Very kind and understanding! Got the old hot water heater out and new one installed super quick! Amazing service! Will definitely use Battavio in the future for our plumbing/heating and AC needs!

I initially called Battavio because that's who serviced the unit for the previous owners. I called because the AC wasn't working properly. They arrived several times unannounced, so I had no idea when they would show up. Luckily, I work from home and was home during their arrival. After several visits by different service techs, they finally found that the coil was leaking. They ordered the wrong coil and had to order again. I was told initially that the coil was under warranty, which was the whole reason I decided to move forward with the repairs, only to later receive the bill with the $1,100 coil charge on the invoice. I never had a chance to get a second estimate from a different company. They never let me know that it was not under warranty until they gave me the bill. Total bill is $2,270.96, plus an additional $85 charge for using a credit card. Buyer beware.

First, the plumber who came to the house was professional and fixed the issue.  I called this morning and the young lady who answered the phone was also professional and did a great job.
My issue is with the fee charged relative to the service performed.  As you know, there was a $60 Diagnostic charge and a $75 Trip Charge.  On top of that, there were additional charges of ~ $150 for the fill valve and flush disk.  These parts retail for ~ $25.00.  To receive a bill for ~$275 for the work performed is unacceptable.  The technician was at my home for no more than 10 minutes.  I don't mind paying for his time and expertise, but $275 for a small job, less than 10 minutes to complete, is hard to understand.

I have Used Battavio for many of their services. They are always on time, efficient and their prices are very reasonable. They are truly great at what they do! I highly recommend them!

Satisfied with the price and installation process for a new HVAC system and water heater last fall.

Called to schedule a maintenance request today and oddly got disconnected at 4:31 PM during the middle of the call.

I called back and got the after hours service request desk. I asked what their normal customer hours were and she replied 8:30-4:30 PM.

So basically the customer rep on the phone with me hung up on me mid-call because it was a minute past 4:30 PM.

Ridiculously poor customer service and I would have a stern talk with that person if it was my business. Unacceptable to hang up on a customer mid-call simply because your day ended a minute or two ago.

I had a drainage leak inside of my house. When I called, I was told that there would be a $65 dispatch fee plus $60 for the diagnosis. I felt $125 overall was fair, and they were able to come in a few hours.

When the guy showed up, he seemed nice, but he was unable to diagnose the leak. He kept scratching his head for two hours and eventually gave up. This is understandable, as the behavior of the leak defied all logic.

What was unreasonable was that I was unknowingly charged by the hour. Instead of paying $125 for a diagnosis, I paid $245 for no diagnosis. It was an insult to injury.

At a minimum, they should explain their pricing structure accurately. If I knew I was being charged by the hour, I would have told the guy to give up so I could cut my losses.

Avoid this company. My AC was not working properly but still working. The technician shows up and mentions that the AC's capacitors are not working properly. He mentioned that the AC should not even work but was surprised that it's working. Well, he did not even bother to check the system inside and wanted to charge me over $100 for diagnostic fee. I had someone come in to replace capacitors and he mentioned that they are just fine. I called the company and and asked to call the supervisor and that person never called me back. Pathetic service.

Excellent service, friendly, professional, reasonable, and punctual with response time. I've had the priviledge of having a few guys from Battavio service my 16-year-old HVAC system for almost 3 years now. They never try to upsell or even sell me a product unless I really needed it. My system is almost 16 years old and for the first time in 3 years, Brendan showed me my rusted capacitor and recommended I replace it since it was on its last leg. Furthermore, I had a draining issue by the coils and Bill H. and his assistant were able to find the problem and give me a little more time with my system by correcting the issue. Just in case, I asked for a proposal on a new AC unit bc my unit is getting older and this would gave me a heads up for saving purposes.

I appreciated the thoroughness, patience, and pleasant personalities of all of Joe Battavio 's workers. Even the wonderful office staff that always try to accomodate my schedule. THANK YOU for HONEST work and employees that treat their customers like their own family.

Excellent job done! Dom was the lead on installing new baseboard heaters and did an incredible job. One of the best people we have ever worked with. Joe and Fran were friendly, easy to work with and quick to respond. Family owned business with years of experience, knowledgeable and most importantly customer-oriented. Will use this company for all our related needs in the future. Couldn't be happier!
