I don't write a lot of reviews so this one means a ton.

Hands down, one of the best service companies I've called. I had a very unique situation with a 1 year old dishwasher that was building up what I call a 'bio funk' inside the whole machine. This wasn't a cheap dishwasher either. I'd previously called the dishwasher warranty company who said 'it's a water issue, good luck and call a plumber'.

So I did.

While describing the issue to the front desk receptionist, she not only was very knowledgeable walking me through ideas but spent the better part of 30 minutes answering my questions.

After scheduling a service call, the OWNER called me. The receptionist took my 'bio funk' problem to the top. The owner called me to recommend NOT scheduling a service call and provided me with 'solves' as she had seen this in the past. She did not want me to spend money already knowing the problem was not water related. What owner of a business does that!!!

I scheduled the service call anyway, no issues there. I wanted 'peace of mind' when calling the warranty company back. The crew that came out was great, professional and honestly, surprised me on how long they spend throughly checking water supply, heater, connections, back flow, etc.

Net, net...it wasn't a water issue! Several parts in the dishwasher malfunctioned and the warranty company ended up coming back and replacing the majority of the interior parts.

I appreciate the honesty of a company and the personal attention of the staff. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

I had a vacant property de-winterized on a Friday for inspections on Monday. On Monday, upon inspector's arrival, it was found that an exterior hose bib was left in the ""on"" position all weekend. Now there is a leak in the basement wall. Called into BEST and was directed to speak with the owner. The owner offered no remedy other than a ""thanks for bringing it to our attention"" and ""I'll talk to the plumbers"". Oh, and I should note, he mentioned that anyone has access to an exterior hose bib. Not sure where he was going with that point, but when your company makes a costly mistake, in the world of business, you make it right. Careful who you trust your business with.

**Added - BEST Plumbing emailed me a picture of an exterior hose bib as proof that the hose bibs were turned off when his plumbers left the property (not the hose bib that was left on). Then insinuated that the Radon Test DROP OFF tech may be responsible for going behind the side bushes on the exterior of the property and turning on the hose.**

I feel like we are in constant need of a plumber for a sink, toilet, sump pump or other water issue-- we are BEYOND pleased w BEST plumbing and Kevin with our service and associated costs. In addition, I really like the text confirmation of appointment and text tech transits alerts plus the ability to track arrival
Lastly, Kevin is super friendly, knowledgeable and always has what is needed on his truck. We have used other plumbers in the past with other companies who have been fine. We ONLY use BEST plumbing now for all of our plumbing needs.

I never expect write a review for a plumber because we've had bad luck at lots of other places in the past. But Best was the exception to the rule. They were 1.5 hours early (after calling first of course). They were transparent in their pricing, told me exact what they were doing at each step and actually ended up doing more than what I paid for. I will definitely use them for all my plumbing needs moving forward (although I do hope I don't have many :) )

They want $522 to replace a garbage disposal. This is beyond comprehension. I have no idea how this place has such high ratings. I will NEVER call again. I wasted $60 on a service call. I am furious. I will tell everyone I know about this.

Outstanding services, both in customer relations and in their ability to quickly and effectively address and fix plumbing issues. If I understand right, each of their trucks actually has a licensed plumber in it, which is not the case with other plumbing companies. Overall my experience with them was great, the prices are reasonable and I'd recommend them to anyone experiencing plumbing issues.

These guys were fantastic the first two times we used them - quick response, reasonable price, efficient work, and patient with explaining what they were doing. If this ended there, I'd highly recommend them. Then came the third time. On BEST's website, they advertise that they clear downspouts. Since we had a great experience the last two times and now had standing water in a gutter (with no obvious clog), we figured we were in great hands going with Best Plumbing a third time. Well, the next time they came out, there was a lot of noise dismantling the gutters and using a tool underground. After I noticed what they were doing, I went outside and asked that they specifically check an elbow connection into the downspout at our ground level - we (correctly) assumed a clog was there since we didn't see much water actually exiting the downspout into the drain in the ground. Because of this, we didn't think the clog was underground so when I saw what they were doing (digging into a pipe underground), I just assumed they were checking everything. After asking about checking the elbow/connection again, I was assured multiple times that they'd take care of it so I went back inside my home and resumed working. At the end of the visit, the plumbers assured me that they checked the elbow and 'could see daylight.' They then also showed me a collection of roots they had pulled from the pipes underground. Since the water had evaporated from the gutter before the plumbers arrived, I assumed the job was done. I paid nearly $300 and they left. It then rained the next night and the same gutter was overflowing. After calling BEST again to let them know the issue wasn't resolved, they scheduled a follow up appointment for a few days later. The day of our next appointment, two hours before our 'window of time,' someone called from Best saying they didn't see the point in coming out since they were just plumbers and 'had already done what they could.' I was then informed to hire 'gutter professionals' should I still be experiencing an issue. The issue with the gutter was clearly explained before the plumbers started working. If they weren't willing to check the spot I was concerned about, I should have been notified ahead of time. Next, why I was told they checked the connection/elbow when they clearly hadn't is maddening. We essentially paid $300 to solve a nonexistent problem (I'm sure roots in a pipe are not great but we didn't call for preventative work, we called for a very real and current problem).

We've since rented a short ladder and confirmed that connection in our downspout is completely clogged. I wouldn't recommend this company in the future due to misrepresentation (not stating limits on how much downspout clearing they actually do) lying (telling me the pipes were clear), and their lack of willingness to follow through on what they've been hired to do.

Had Best Plumbing out to handle a drain backing up. $297.00 later and the problem was not fixed. When we had to call them back a couple weeks later to finish the job we were told it would be no less but than $150 more to try a different technique on the exact same drain.

Charged me $60 to come check my gas pipes because they failed pressure test at inspection. Told me I needed to spend $10,000 to replace all of the gas pipes. Got a 2nd opinion and pipes were fine. Just needed valves to be tightened.

Never got my $60 back. Save your time and money and don't get ripped off.

I live in a condo where they used very poor pipe material in the underground water line. Ernie has fixed two leaks so far, one back in 2012 and another one just recently. Both times he (and his staff) have been prompt, friendly, professional, knowledgable, and very efficient. My HOA (who I had to go through to get the work approved) said the recent repair could take days, but these guys had it fixed in a few hours. They are also very reasonable with their pricing, I highly recommend them!
