We needed to have our furnace serviced and called them Friday and they sent Ryan out on Monday. Ryan is the man! He was thorough, polite, and very knowledgeable. He pointed out some things we were doing wrong, gave my wife and I a run through of how everything works and needs to be maintained, and was overall very pleasant.

I don't normally write reviews but I felt I needed to after having such a wonderful experience! I'm not sure how the other technicians are, but If they are anything like Ryan they will have our business for years to come!!!

Not sure if these guys are understaffed or just incompetent. Had a furnace not working, and they sent out a tech that wasn't qualified to fix the problem, so 2 days later they sent out a ""senior technician"" that looked at the system for all of his 10 minutes and as he was walking out the door stated they'd ""be back next week"". They were supposed to come today (my house is currently 50 degrees) however they called saying their tech ""got caught on a job"" and wouldn't be able to come in until tomorrow. Currently 8 days without a working furnace, which is awesome!

We have had nothing but positive experiences with Basset. They have gone above and beyond to help up since we moved into our home and had a few issues with our unit. We never have trouble reaching someone to ask a question and they always do their best to fit us in to their schedule or help us resolve the issue ourselves until they can arrive. As a long-time Colorado Springs Realtor, we wouldn't recommend anyone else other than Basset for our client's needs. They are prompt, professional, affordable, and above all, trustworthy. We have used them dozens of times and I always know they are telling the truth and don't ever tell us we need work done when it's not necessary. There have been many times when we have called them for a 'second opinion' and they have repaired a simple problem when other companies wanted to install a new furnace or A/C. We wouldn't use anyone else.

I had them do a bid on a mini split system for 2 rooms. It was an 18,000 BTU unit and a fairly strait forward install. Their quote was $18,000, but they were being generous with a $4,000 discount and an extra $500 off if I paid cash. Out of the bids I've had they were by far the highest and not by a little. Obviously they didn't want the job or they thought they could stick it to me.

Great service, and a special thanks to Chris (I think that was his name). As soon as he went to do annual service on our air unit it was noted by him that the unit had not been installed correctly (5 years ago). He showed us that water was actually standing in the unit, causing the condenser coil to freeze up during operation. He spent the extra time to fix everything, including an overcharged outside unit. After fixing everything he told us we had only been getting about 50% of the air we should have been. The air is much colder now, and the air flow is greater too. I can tell the unit is running more efficient since it turns off a lot more during the day. Thanks again to Chris and Basset Heating & Air.

Highly recommend Basset Heating & Air. I live out of state and have a rental property in Colorado Springs. I called after hours because my tenant's heater went out. He answered the phone right away and was at my tenants house in less than 30 minutes! Their prices are reasonable and even offer military discounts! Will be recommending them to everyone I know!
