Richard Baskin walked out on me without completing a fairly simply plumbing job. He also lied about a $20.00 purchased from home-depot which he in turn charged me $150.00. He was Loud, rude, arrogant
and very disrespectful to me for no reason.
He owes me a refund so I took him to court. He did not show up for the court appearance. He ignored all further notices
From the court. Finally I placed a lien against him. Unfortunately I ignored the red flags on his strange behavior that were bought to my attention by the building manager.

Rick Baskin was referred to me by Mark1 Restoration. He misdiagnosed the plumbing issue resulting in 3-4 additional days with a commercial sized dehumidifier on 24 hours a day right in my living room.

Then when I call him to follow up and have him come back out to fix what clearly was a leak from the tub (and not a crack through the tile of my separate shower like Rick initially claimed), his phone went right to VM and he did not return my calls (I called and left him 3 detailed voice mails.).

At this point, Mark1 tried calling him, too -- no response. Hopefully Rick's radio silence is attributable to a personal issue he had to tend with and NOT because he is a very poor communicator and plumber. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt because to leave someone hanging and misdiagnosing, then not even returning calls, is a pretty low thing to do.

If Rick wants to call me and explain why he did this to me, I'm happy to edit this review if I feel that his reasoning is legitimate.
