I chose to start my own business in 2023 after buying a house in a new city and my employer parting ways with me. I began with my truck, my savings, and my last paycheck. I bought a small sewer machine and had enough tools to fill my truck. I was a one-man operation with the other firms; now I have my own company, and it’s still just me.
