I had water coming through holes at the base of my wall and pouring into the trench and on the floor. They explained why this was happening and even gave me a ballpark price on the phone before taking my address! All the other companies just took my name and address and sent a salesman. The owner came out and showed/explained to me what was happening. The price was less than what his staff said! I asked him about digging up on the outside like other companies wanted to do and he said it was a waste of my money and guaranteed there would be no water on my floor with just the inside work he was proposing. I have no water now in my basement and I saved thousands by not digging on the outside when he could have definitely charged me for that! I'm very happy with the dry basement and the extra money in my pockets!

We had a problem with our sump pump alarm in our crawl space. We thought it was installed by Basement Technologies of Western NY and called them. We all quickly realized they did not install our system, yet the woman who answered the phone gave us 10 minutes of free advice! She took her time, answered all our questions even though she knew she would not charge us. I am very grateful. Old fashioned kindness.

Nice folks and very hard working but unfortunately the project I hired them for was a failure. Hired them to stabilize the foundation of my garage with helical piers but couldn't install them because of large rocks in fill discovered during excavation. Cost me over $12,000 and all I have to show for it are two large piles of mud next to my house after the trenches were refilled. Would have been nice if the engineering report that was supposedly done before the job started had spotted this issue.

I visited a couple placed before choosing this place. I waited 6 months before posting a review to make sure i had no issues. Everything is so far so good and the basement looks good. I still need to paint my basement floor but that's on myself. They put up these thick plastic type walls which is something i paid for as well due to the basement walls crumbling over the yrs from moisture and not having a sump pump and those look great, a little pricey but less than refinishing the basement so a happy middle. The job was expensive but more very competitive compared to the other places i looked into prior and no one tried to sell me some 25,000$ job like a couple places wanted me to sign up for. I paid about 9,000 for having a trench put in, and sump pump installed and those walls which make the basement so much nicer. They had decent payment options as well, i think it was no interest for 6 months which let me pay down the principal quicker because i made normal payments in those first int free 6 months anyways. I hated having to spend $9000 but they made it less stressful than some other companies tried to make it by trying to suck me dry and not just my basement. Happy customer.
