i am not happy with them since original owner sold out..you can't even use Contact Them on their website..i called over three hours ago now and left vm for the mgr. to call me about bill that is much higher than i was quoted but he has not responded..i made the mistake of using Mainstream Elect. prior to calling barton and their so called tech person who came out messed up my almost new furnace when they came to clean it..and now i am paying barton for the repair..is there an honest heating and cooling company in spokane anymore? btw, i waited over a month almost for part to come in that had to be replaced and if i had not called them to see if it was in yet, i would still be waiting because they never alerted me..and why do i have to pay formielage for somoene to even come out here...no one ever paid my gas mileage for me to go out to see clients when i worked. kay c..

After doing a superb job on our furnace we hired Barton Boys again to install a new A/C system. It was a smooth installation, inspections cleared with no issues and the system has worked for 8 months now flawlessly. Every person we dealt with from the front office to installers were terrific to work with, so we recommend them heartily.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!! Called them was having some problems with our furnace in 2018. They were late for their appointment and I had to go to work. They proceeded to send me a bill for $150. When I called and explain that the bill must be a mistake they very rudely told me that they charge a fee for showing up when I explained that the appointment time had passed and they were late they hung up the phone. Still fighting with them and the credit bureaus to remove this fraudulent charge from my credit report. The next day a different company came out and change the fuse charged me $25. I am sure someday they're shady business practices will have them out of business.

We've used Barton Boys to service our HVAC system nearly 10 years. They are always pleasant, thorough, and knowledgeable. Today Vern continued that tradition. I particularly appreciated the detail Vern included in the invoice. I hope we see him again for our next annual inspection.

Our furnace went out last winter and they said it would be 2-3 weeks before anybody called. Sure enough, it was, by then we found somebody that cared if we were cold and already had a new furnace installed.

I had great experiences with this company over the years. These low ratings and complaints I have read does not even describe The Barton Boys. They don't charge a diagnostic fee and then charge for labor and materials at a flat rate...they are strictly time and material which ends up being much cheaper. Gary is an awesome technician and very thorough. I wouldn't use anyone else now that I've used them and ask for Gary every time.
