Lish H.I am so grateful to Bartlett & Steadman (and Jessie in particular!) for coming to my rescue last week before the storm. My Rinnai combi-boiler had quit and I was looking at facing the storm without heat or hot water. I live alone so that was a big deal - I had space heaters but if the electric quit I'd have been in trouble. They arrived promptly and fixed the problem within a couple of hours. So professional and nice too! I highly recommend.
My previous plumber retired. I was fortunate to find Bartlett and Steadman. I had gas furnace overhaul and sump pump correctly installed. Everyone from office to onsite plumbers were total pros and couldn't be nicer. On time, dependable and excellent prices. You won't go wrong with these guys.
Carrie K.I would have given 5 stars as they are great and come on time. The only problem I would mention is their billing system is terrible. This the second time I received a statement indicating that I had a bill past due and it was incurring interest charges. I never got the bill in the first place!!! Luckily, they did rectify the problem and told me that they switched to a new system and they had problems with customers not receiving bills. They ended up only charging me for the amount of the original bill. I recommend that after you receive the service, you call the office and tell them to make sure they bill you instead of relying on them sending you the bill.

I don't know what has happened at Bartlett & Steadman- we had
used them for heating and air-conditioning services for the last ten years, and was always happy with their prompt and efficient response. That has recently changed- repeated calls to service our failed air conditioning have either gone unanswered or when they were answered, request for
service ignored. I certainly will recommend to our condominium owners to look elsewhere for service.
We had B&S install an updated heating and water system in our home. Rich and Kyle (and another person- can't remember his name) came and did a wonderful job. They were professional, efficient and explained exactly what they were doing to upgrade our system. They stayed late on a Friday to ensure that everything was completed and cleaned up. Highly recommend Rich and Kyle at B&S. In a world of mediocre service these guys get an A+.
TERRIBLE!!
My dad and I used them to replace a faucet they were here for less than an hour. We never received a bill. I called once and my dad called twice asking for the bill.
I talked to a man who promised that an invoice would be sent that day. Never got it. My dad talked to two different women both promised that a bill would be sent out that day or the next never got it.
Friday we got a call from them saying we had an outstanding payment. Dad explained the situation we finally got a bill. The bill we for over double because they charged interest!
2nd issue. My dad was helping my grandfather get his boiler fixed/replaced. Called b&s to come look at it made an appointment and they never showed they said someone made a mistake so we made another appointment. Person was over an hour late. Called and asked where the person was, we got oh that was never scheduled but someone can come out now.
What is up with this place and communication and organization?! Wouldn't recommend them.
Erin U.Today we had no hot water. We went downstairs to the basement to see what was wrong....but needed a small boat to get to the water heater. The basement was flooded from the rain and the water runoff from the hill behind us. We called Bartlett Steadman, and they had a team at our house in under 30 minutes. The guys (Jesse and I can't remember the other guy's name) were smart, fast, professional, and excellent at figuring out why we had an indoor lake in our basement. The sump pump was old and dying, not quite dead but limping so badly that it just couldn't get the gumption to pump our the water. They replaced the unit fast and thoroughly. Everything is shiny and lovely in our basement now...or at least it's no longer a lake. It's now just a dirt floor basement with a few stubborn spiders who insist on staying inside during the winter.
Anyway, if they had not come when they did, the water would have risen higher...and destroyed our new heating system, which would have really made me sad. So, I am very grateful to Bartlett & Steadman and their team for the ultra fast response (honestly, they are this fast every time we call them), and they are the only plumber that we will use now. They may cost a little extra money, but the service is worth it.

We had a problem one summer weekend and a guy named ""Steadman,"" presumably the owner (not Oprah's boyfriend) came over fixed it himself. It seems increasingly rare to receive that level of service these days. Keep up the good work.
I have reached out to them three times and every time I called I was told that they will call me back. Never received a phone call. Poor customer service all around.
