Nothing great about having to call a plumber
If you do I have had great luck with Barrington Plumbing Co.
Run by Richard. A real nice likeable guy honest and tells it like it is.
he comes by and sees what has to be done. Then brings one of his
top guys . To do the job. Never ever had a problem.
He wont replace something unless he has too.
Even though he says he'll be by tomorrow If he's in the area
He'll be at your door. sooner
if he feels theres a real concern. Of course he'll call first before he drops by. Think the world of this co. I trust them so much I feel I can even leave and go to work while there working

Worse plumbing service in Pasadena. A $1200 job costed us $12K, avoid them at all costs. They did a terrible job, for much longer time than expected (over 3 months) and for an absurd price. $12K for a sink. To top it, the owner threatened to take us to court if we didn't pay.

I had a VERY bad experience with Barrington Plumbing.
I have used them several times before since I knew Art Barrington from Pasadena Rotary.
We discovered a leak beneath our home on Sunday. Monday morning I called just before 8 am hoping to leave a message or schedule a repair visit. A woman answered the phone and stated that she was stuck on the freeway and wouldn't be in the office for about 20 minutes. I briefly explained that we had a leak and that I could meet a repairman any time that afternoon. I said I would try to call back in about 20 minutes.
To my surprise, when I went to call back there was an irate message from the woman who had answered my call to Barrington. Strangely, she chastised me for calling before 8 am, feeling that I might get a plumber to come out that same day, and that I had ""hung up"" on her. She stated that she did not want me to call back.
I called another plumbing company and scheduled a visit for that afternoon. The leak repair took about 2 hours and I paid $370.
This terrible service by Barrington Plumbing has lost my business forever.
Certainly, NOT a good experience or a good way to do business.

Richard and his crew are always courteous and extremely good at what they do. I never hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

Yet another great experience with Barrington! The good news is I don't have plumbing problems often; the better news is when I do Barrington is there for me. Tony was in and out within an hour. He quickly assessed the situation with the toilet and fixed it without outrageous expense.
Always friendly, on time and competent.
