My hot water heater was leaking in the garage. There was water everywhere. I am so happy I found Barney's Plumbing. I was able to get an appointment within the hour.

Chris arrived promptly and was very knowledgeable and courteous. I really appreciated the way he took the time to explain and make sure I understood the problem.

As it turned out, I did not need to get a new hot water heater. Chris replaced the drain valve, and it was good as new. He was efficient and very neat.
He saved me a lot of money.
They are honest.

This is one of the best plumbing companies I've ever worked with. They have great customer service skills, are always knowledgeable about what they're doing, and keep you posted on when they'll be arriving and how long the service will take. They're also upfront about the price. 
The plumber was able to help me fix the problem at a low cost. He was very informative on what had gone wrong and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. 
Another thing that stood out to me is that they worked with me and my busy schedule. They were able to come out to my place late on a Sunday night. I thought this was impressive since most people don't work on Sundays let alone later in the evening.

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing services. They are really great all around.

I am so grateful to have found Barney's Plumbing! I took on the job of property management last year for a complex of 6 town homes. Over the year we have had several plumbing issues, including broken water heaters, plugged sinks, and not so happy toilets. Barney's is my first call every time! The workers have always been on time and very friendly, Tyler always goes above and beyond when I'm having an issue. They definitely deserve all 5 stars.

I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had today. I am a first time home buyer, and have had a litany of issues since closing, the worst of which was a gas leak that was discovered this morning. I placed a called and had an appointment for 45 minutes later. Marcos arrived within the window given, and when we spoke about a few things I wanted looked at in addition to the gas leak, I felt like I was talking to a (very knowledgeable) friend when we were discussing the options available. The price I was quoted was what I was charged, and I feel was very fair for the work that was done. All of my issues were addressed, and the guys made me feel 1000 times better than I did this morning. In fact, I have already recommended them to my mom for extensive plumbing work that she needs done. I'm so glad that we found a local company and will call them first for any plumbing needs in the future.

Finding a good plumber is so hard - like ridiculously hard! I couldn't find one for a really long time, but I finally found one and dude, I cannot be happier.

I rent a small home in West Covina. It's pretty old, so I knew there would be some issues here and there with the plumbing. Less than a year into living there, 'lo and behold, the pipes for the bathroom have been giving me so much trouble. You flush the toilet and it drains out into the bathtub and the sink - it's gross and disgusting. I didn't have any issues with how he worked - I trusted him immediately. He knew what he was talking about and how to get the job done. The best part was the efficiency of their service; the job was done and I wasn't kept waiting at all. Even better actually, the price is well worth it. This company was great to work with. I was able to take showers but unable to take a bath because of the tub faucet. It was not only stuck, but leaking as well. Marco the plumber came to my house and worked on it for 2 hours. Originally he had said it would only take him 30 minutes. It seemed like a really tough job and they quoted me the same price even though it took a lot longer than he thought. I will use them down the road for any plumbing repairs or fixes. Very trustworthy company!! Now I can enjoy my bath bombs!

This is our go to plumber.Always prompt service for bathroom plumbing issues, garbage disposal replacement and my contractor husband has had him out for water heaters in our clients homes as well. Marcos was great as our technician, I trust them in our home and fast service calls , same day with great prices. Living in an old craftsmen home with 3 bathrooms , there is always something needing updating and replacement too.

Made a late afternoon same day appointment and Chris ended up coming at noon (after calling and making sure it was OK). He was courteous and very attentive, gave me an estimate to replace my hot water heater ( which I found a little high), but after I approved, he worked fast and efficient and was very accommodating.

Diagnosed what I was afraid was a major problem. Another plumbing company had quoted me a four-figure estimate to replace the entire water works from the street to the house to fix a leak. Barney discovered that the problem was merely a worn out packing nut on a valve. He replaced it, and it's been dry ever since. He also repaired a small problem with the water heater, which had been done incorrectly by the original installer. I was essentially billed only for the trip fee. I appreciate the straight-shooting!
