Diagnosed what I was afraid was a major problem. Another plumbing company had quoted me a four-figure estimate to replace the entire water works from the street to the house to fix a leak. Barney discovered that the problem was merely a worn out packing nut on a valve. He replaced it, and it's been dry ever since. He also repaired a small problem with the water heater, which had been done incorrectly by the original installer. I was essentially billed only for the trip fee. I appreciate the straight-shooting!

I had such a great experience with this company. I made a call Saturday morning expecting to be put on a schedule for the following week. Barney let me know that they would come out the same day to replace my water heater which was a pleasant surprise since the tank was leaking all over. I received a call from the plumber 30 minutes prior to the scheduled window I was given. Charlie arrived and installed the new water heater in just a few hours which was amazing to me. I could not be more satisfied with the service provided and would highly recommend this company to any of my friends and neighbors that need a water heater heater replaced. They will not disappoint!

Barney is my go to plumber! Over the years he has helped me with numerous plumbing projects. First he came to install my tankless water heater. Then he came and install 2 new toliets with water efficient models and replaced the my garage disposal. I recently set up an annual maintenance for my tankless water heater. However i had a family emergency and had to cancel. Barney was great with working with my schedule as usual he called me the day prior to our new time and the day of 30 mins prior to him showing up for the appointment. My water heater is in the house and was leaking. I figured we'd have to get a whole new water heater. I called a couple places who not only couldn't make it out for days, but didn't offer any other solutions. I called Barney, and he was extremely helpful on the phone. During the time when he was unable to get there, he was able to give me instructions to minimize water damage. He explained all of the repairs that he was performing as he worked on the water heater. He was extremely kind, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He could have easily sold me a whole new water heater, but didn't.

I initially had my home warranty company send a plumber out but wasn't happy with the cost, attitude, and lack of professionalism. Instead of having the water heater repaired by them I took a buy out.

I then called Barney to ask questions about my 40 gallon tank that was leaking. Barney answered all my questions and communicated with me throughout the process of my making the decision to go with him. He was able to deliver and install the new water heater within a day of my decision to use his company. They removed the old device, installed new piping, installed the new war heater, and cleaned up afterwards.

They took the time to explain how I should flush it out annually in language I could understand. I was extremely pleased with the level of service and professionalism.

I went to Barney to purchase and install my current water heater. Lowe's was supposed to install our dishwasher but said that we had to re-route our water lines to do so. The people of Barney were nice enough to came over to my house and give me a second opinion. After looking at my drains they informed me that what Lowe's was recommending simply wasn't necessary and offered to install the dishwasher with no re-routing required. Not only did they do this, but also fixed a broken pvc pipe on our basement sink drain. Barney's was very professional and did everything in such an expertly fashion, I will continue to use Barney anytime I have any plumbing needs.

When we called and said our water heater had stopped working, I wasn't sure if they would come out to my area but they were very nice and actually came the same day that we called! After inspecting our problem, they recommended a new water heater. We were nervous because the previous quotes for a new water heater were so expensive. They gave us an estimate for two options, one of which allowed us to have a tax credit. My parents were thrilled with both options because they were cheaper than other quotes we'd received. They were able to install the new water heater the next day. Overall, very responsive; they've been recommended to family friends.

After trying to get sears, home depot and one other business on Yelp to replace my water heater, I called Barney. I got voicemail and received a call back not more than 20 min later. I explained the problems I had been through trying to get a plumber to replace my water heater. Barney installed my new water heater the next morning and charged exactly what he quoted on the phone.
