Barney sold to Matt. Matt is a good guys. Matt at Affordable Plumbing has been to the house 4 times recently... I had a lot of repairs. first visit, we discovered a leak at the main supply to the house. Not sure who creatively plumbed this area, but Matt cleaned it up and left me with two hose bibs in front and replaced a couple leaking in the back yard. He also fixed the toilet. Second visit... new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal and made sure the sewage line was clear from the kitchen. Emergency visit.... Sewage back for the bathrooms. Let Matt know we had a problem. He prioritized us and stopped by before his first appointment. Besides waste, he found a hose part that had been in the bathroom waste line for year! Finally, Matt replaced our 25 year old water heater. Why is Matt my choice... first he is local. I didn't want a plumbing company from another county. He always let me know what was happening, what other repairs were needed in our 50 year old home, planned ahead to reduce future problems, made sure I knew where all the shutoffs were located, worked around our schedule and medical problems, was always polite and courteous. Cost, reasonable. Timely. Appropriate follow up.

Hi there!
Barney is NO longer running the show, and I have been relying on him and ALEX for SO many years ( 12/15 years). I needed a plumber for my upstairs bathroom, so, of course I called Barney's...the technician who replied is Matt. He also had a young man with him, who was NOT introduced. Maybe, he was an apprentice? I Dont know. I needed a 8 inch faucet installed, and Matt also had to do some "" EXTRA"" WORK, because the previous technician jerry-rigged it...anyway, it cost me $390...!!! I Paid $159 for the faucet...so, I feel this was excessive. I know, for a fact, that I WOULD NOT have been charged this much if it was Barney or Alex...
Not sure that I will call Matt again...I really think that he should have introduced the young man, whether he was learning, or an apprentice...whatever! Just a suggestion.

AJ plumbing told us we had a blockage that required lifting the flooring, jackhammering through the foundation to get to the blockage.
We had Barney's Affordable Plumbing come give us a second opinion before taking on such a huge project and within 15 minutes they completing dissolved the blockage. They were so professional that we had them replace our water heater. Great price and amazing service!

I consider Barneys Plumbing one of the finest plumbing companies in area code 707. I have used them for years and with the addition of Alex to the business their business is stronger than ever. I have recommended them to many of my neighbors and all will agree to their excellence.

Recently, I had a bad sprinkler valve problem with severe thumping throughout my house. Many folks have tried to solve this and no one has been able to fix this intermittent issue. I called Barneys to install a new hot water valve. Alex was able to listen to the thumping and cleaned up the plumbing sprinkler line, by installing a new pressure valve, and removing redundant and damaged pressure valves. Their service is excellent.

Pricing is fair for plumbers. Barney can rest easily knowing that his new partner Alex is maintaining their reputation for excellence.

My advice is hire them!
